Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy New Year!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Lola and Bug got one of those red dot thingies... they are chasing it everywhere, and can't figure out why they can't catch it. They is so silly! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It's Christmas! We have to have peppermint! ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday. I really enjoyed mine, though I really didn't so much..... We were 40, rainy, damp and downright chilly. I never did make it out, short of the Seattle trips. It rained non-stop here all day, so I elected to stay dry rather than tromp through soggy drippy trails.  I passed DR. The joke of it all is is that it took me 1.6 hours to drive what is normally a 25 minute drive, since the roads and weather were such a mess, for a 5 minute appt. Yupp. 5 minutes for her to give me the once over, pronounce all the internal female stuff healthy. ;-) sheshhhh - all that travel for 5 minutes,  So I made that trek home, dinged around with this new insurance stuff some more before heading back into town to meet Barb. Who had to cut the time short since she had a meeting. oh haha.  I was batting a thousand yesterday. It's OK though, it was nice to be able to get out some, despite the awful weather. I will try not to complain about the weather much, as I know there are those of you who are really really cold out there. Stay warm!!! all in all, a nice day, mellow, not too busy.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   Elsa's whack-a-thons continue - this time over her fuds bowl. Bug wanted some of here, and she told him no way was she sharing. WHACK! He waited patiently then until she as finished and went in to clean the bowl.  I love LOLA... well I Love all my kitties, but I swear Lola keeps me on my toes. She was a good girl yesterday, has left the plants alone, left the papers and the magazines and the boxes alone, but it was one mad dash from one place to another. Sure beats the craziness of the day before. A friend sent them a red dot laser...   Lola thinks that is the best thing ever. She's been chasing it for a while now. Bug too. She's so funny. I will place it on her paw and she sits there and shakes her paw, can't figure out why the dot it still there. It won't belong before she figures out it is me making her do silly things. She was so into window pounding yesterday - I went to take my shower, so in she comes, starts pounding on the glass door. I pounded back at her, she pounded back at me, and on and on we went.   It was a pounding duet! One can safely say: Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas's regular pool is clsoed for a week for maintenance. Although I did find a back up pool for him, he wasn't all that sure that he wanted to swim there, as they did not have all the fun things that his regular pool has. so..... it looks like we will take a week off from the pool, and fill it with nice warm and dry things. The weather is is very wet, so indoor it shall be,. Any bets he picks the aquarium? ;-) I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Sounds like a great day yesterday, even with the delays and shortened coffee. Love the whack-a-thons. That is such a great report from your house. Makes me think of BJ. Have a wonderful day Michelle!

I love the lasers! Chyna isn't much for running anymore, but she still looks interested (or frustrated :o ) at that silly red dot! I'm sorry Bug is getting so many whacks  The pounding duet sounds fun! Hope you have a good Wednesday Michelle :-D

 on Lola and the laser. I bet Bug learned fast not to mess with Elsa's fuds until she was done. Have a good day with the boys.

Elsa is still the matriarch!!! Don't mess with her fuds until she has decided she is DONE!!

Lola sounds like a character. She sounds like a smile a minute!!

Champ used to love a laser pointer until we completely abused his good nature one day. We had him running full speed around the coffee table, chasing after that dang red dot...couldn't catch it, couldn't catch it... He never chased that thing again. You can put the dot right between his feet, on his foot, on his tummy, on the wall next to him....nothing. He'll look at it and then look at the person with the laser as if to say, "You can't be SERIOUS....I'm not falling for THAT again!!"

A nice dry week might be a good change!!!

No trouble yesterday, Lola? I hope you rectified that today.  I see from FB that you had a good day with the boys. :-D :-D
Liz

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Lola is on a time out, again. Three times this afternoon she has stepped on the power switch for this 'puter... and all connected to it. Let's see.... how much did I have to re-type! Not to mention the fact that this poor ole' puter does not like those type of shutdowns, and it just takes forever to reboot it all. Sheshhhhh. LOLA! Time out for you. :-x :-x :-x      Other than that... it has been an awesome day today, despite the weather. I has rained buckets here today, with a break now and then. Right ow I can see a minute patch of blue sky... but way off on the horizon is the ugliest band of dark ominous clouds. more rains. well duh, this is the Seattle area.... We ended up at the aquarium today. Nicholas's pick, a given. He had a great time there. We are at the point now that he knows the place so well that he will tell me on the drive, and when we get there, what we are going to see. No if ands or buts, and we skip everything until he ahs seen what is on his game plan.   . So I let him play tour guide, and then we negotiate for what I want to see, and William. William loves the tropical fish - I am sure it is all the bright colors, the movement. Today was whale day, again, for Nicholas. He loves the whale exhibit. We must have visited that 5 times. Seals were top of the list today too. anywyas.... really nice time there. I had intended to stop in at MLT pool on the way home, so he could see our backup pool but he was toast by 12:30/1:00, and no way was he waking up, and napped for 3 hours... so MLT will be postponed, maybe tomorrow. It is no biggie if we don't at all, as our regular pool reopens next week. Nicholas has been so tired of late, and I am beginning to think that part of this fatigue that he is experiencing a growth spurt. He is getting lots of sleep at night, and mom and dad are having trouble getting him up in the morning, and when I get him he's beat. anywyas... I will be glad when that is resolved. :-D Sleep and grow well little man! I will post the Picassa link to the Aquarium photos in tomorrows condo.

Hi Melissa - THX, and it was. Me too on the whack-a-thons, it so reminds me of BJ too. she was the master of them all, whacked everybody.  THX on today - it was great.

Hi Rachel - The laser is proving to be fun. Lola now chits at it, talks to it, before she runs.I think she is figuring out that the bean is making her do all of this. How long before she stages a revolt? LOL, but Bug doesn't seem to mind thew whacks. One very laid back dude.  The pounding was funny. she'd wit to see if I'd pound back. silly cat, but I love it.

Hi Carla - Laser is a hoot. Bug likes it too. Yes on the fuds, Both Lola and Bug sit back when Elsa is eating, and wait for her to finish, Such patience, even from Lola! It must be hard for her to sit still.  THX - day with the boys was fun.

Hi Patty! I hope all is well with you and Champ. YUPP! Elsa is the matriarch, and she make sure the others know it. and Yes on Lola - she truly is. She's only 1 and half, and silly as can be, mischievous, and never ever stops at no kitty. All is done a wrap speed.... Oh to funny on Champ and the laser. I can see that happening with Lola. Already she makes these chit chit noises at it when I turn it on. Like she's scolding it. Way too funny. oh yes on that nice dry week.... paws crossed!

Hi Liz - oh yes, rectified today. DRIVES ME NUTS when she steps on that power switch.... a small minor thing, but what havoc it causes. all that space back there and she has to step on the tiny little button.... "see human? I can control your life!"  THX, yupp! A nice day with the boys. FUN!

Hi Michelle - I was thinking of you today, we did a road trip to Bellingham to pick up cat supplies (mostly strips). I think I saw that same small patch of blue that you did, but not for long. Back to the dull roar of rain again. On the bright side of things, the snowdrops are popping out and I've heard the cherry blossoms are starting to show in Victoria.

Those laser pointers are the best thing. Neko doesn't do much but watch, but it does distract the civie when he's in full on "bug Neko" mode. They are especially cool when on hardwood floors, lots of skating going on. Ugh on the computer shutdown, just yet another excuse to get a laptop. ;-)

Hi Michelle,
Sounds like Nicholas could be a tour guide at the aquarium! :-D I think those growth spurts just knock them out, for a while at least, then back up to regular speed.
Our senior ladies are showing their stuff! The youngin's must learn some manners :-D
Glad you had a wonderful day- I wish some sunshine for you tomorrow :-D

Hi Wendy - ah cool! You were in Bellingham! And in time for that small patch of blue. It sure didn't last long did it. we had rains most of the day today. How cool you are seeing snowdrops! Awesome. always the first sign of a pending spring here. wow too on the cherry blossoms. I can so see that skating on your hardwood floors, with that laser pointer. I will have to try that on the kitchen tile.  That ought to get the kitties going. I'm sure Elsa won't care, but the other two love it. oh yes, so I thought about the 'puter last night,. Sure wouldn't have that problem with a laptop. darn cat!

Hi Jane - oh yes on Nicholas - he knows the place so well. in winter we are often there once a week. I think so too on those growth spurts, no other explanation for his tired. he wants to go go go, just runs out of gas. LOL on our senior ladies. Show them the rope Elsa! THX on the sunshine wishes - I hope so too. Paws crossed!

A friend sent them a red dot laser...   Lola thinks that is the best thing ever. She's been chasing it for a while now. Bug too. She's so funny. I will place it on her paw and she sits there and shakes her paw said:
 I love playing with kitties and red dot lasers. I think they are so much fun. Sadly, my man Mocha didn't think so. He thinks the laser is out to get him, and runs away from it, he doesn't want that weird red thing touching him!
