I suck at the AMPS cuz Kit is used to hearing our alarm and getting food. So making him sit, relax and get poked is the last thing he wants to do. 3 days in a row - nothing! I really want to know what that number is. It's going to be a matter of making it a routine I guess. At one point, we did get a small amt of blood, but not enough to read ... and by this point, Kit wanted food and there was nothing else he was going to do until he got some. So I let it go. Will try again tomorrow.

But +4 at 324 is nice(r). Too bad I'm out all day cuz it would have been interesting to see where he goes at 6-7. Maybe I can stop by during the day....
 
For his amps if he is that hungry in the mornings, try giving him a couple of his treats before the poke, something to take the edge off his rumbling tummy. I do that with Musette frist thing in the morning, because the moment I open my eyes Her Meowjesty wants FED! But If I give her a couple bites of her turkey first, she will sit to be tested as long as she can see there is more turkey waiting for after..lol And a few low carb treats right before isn't going to have a chance to hit the blood stream in time to influence the reading.

Will definitely try that tomorrow...and it will JUST HAVE to work because its back to work for me (I am definitely a sucker for holidays - i'm worse than my students on the last sunday) and I dont have time to dwindle in the mornings...

PMPS was 405. Gotta keep it out of the red Kit...I'm ok with purple...had a heart attack with the black...but lets avoid the red too while we're at it :)
