Yesterday's thread

Morning all - back to the Monday grind! I'm cautiously pleased to see another blue preshot this morning. This morning's numbers are all very similar to yesterday's.

Kit let me know 15 minutes before my alarm went off that she was desperately hungry, and how come no one ever gives her any food, and don't I know I am her servant who must bow to her every whim? I scritched her cute little head, and went back to sleep for 15 minutes. She would like everyone to know she's not impressed by my actions. :joyful::joyful:

It's a busy week this week, but luckily I can do most of it from home, especially since we have a winter weather warning for tomorrow (maybe 6-11 inches of snow?).

Kit cat is looking good on this dose! So far so good. And your poor deprived baby. It’s a shame no one ever pays attention to her or serves her. :rolleyes:

Right? These poor poor kittens. Never any treats. Never any brown papers on the floor to lay on and crinkle. No grassies to eat. No catnip. Definitely can see the bottom of the food dish. Never any pets, or nice soft places to nap. :rolleyes:

I definitely think she would play that Sarah McLachlan song "In the Arms of an Angel" if she thought it would help her get what she wants. :joyful::joyful:
 
My goodness! Wake up and feed this girl! Haha

I love how dramatic they all become when they haven't eaten for few hours. Like we've been starving them for days! Haha

Kit looks good. I think she's doing and feeling much better meow. Her numbers are definitely reflecting that.

I hope you don't get buried under a lot of snow and we wish you a good week ahead (even though it will be a busy one)

Yeah, drama be their middle names sometimes.
I'm still being cautiously optimistic, but she does seem to be trending better.
We haven't had any appreciable snow, so while it will potentially be a lot, we can use it. It's been weird to be in Wisconsin and have almost no snow so far this winter.

She's really getting back to the swing of things.
No snow in Wisconsin? We are expecting a series of snowy days - maybe one of those will come your way.
We always need snow - we need water. Are you depended on snow for summer water there?

We usually have more snow by now, I'm guessing we'll be in some level of drought by summer if we don't catch up. Tomorrow is forecast 6-11 inches, so that'll be a start, I guess. It has been rainier this winter, but I still think we're below in precip where we should be.

lol, she’s another drama queen. Just wanting it all. (I think she actually has it all in your home!!) :p

Same. Same. Same. Ivy went from being found walking alone as a literal baby on the streets of a not so desirable city neighborhood to living in the burbs. Girl’s got the life. (They deserve everything tho!) :)
(And she hisses, scratches and bites us!!)
 
Well, not super excited about the bump up, but she did eat more of her dinner faster than usual. She usually only eats about half and I have to coax her to eat a bit more.

Same here in Toronto. Usually we would have already had few snow storms by meow.
I had some family that used to live in Wisconsin. Onalaska was the town, close to Madison. Meow they're in Chicago.
