Yesterday was just an awful day all around. Jack started high despite a promising yellow overnight run, he wouldn't cooperate for his shot, which turned into a partial fur shot because he wiggled away from me while I was shooting...I have no clue how much he actually got, it was still coming out of the plunger when he got away, I estimated maybe 2 units in a puddle on my kitchen floor, so he spent the day high. He insisted on the kibble mix in the morning, but was happy to just eat the pate at night, so this morning we have better numbers, but again, he had to have that damn kibble mix.
In other news, we got clobbered with snow, over a foot, I hurt my right shoulder and wrist clearing it away, so I'm having trouble typing (work has been fun so far today....not). Abby (the one I can't medicate) is sick, again, and needs to go to the vet. She has that ear infection again, and I'm not convinced the dog meds they gave her last time didn't bother her so she either needs to live in a large dog crate for a week so I can medicate her or I need to board her at the vet [assuming I can get there] for a $$week$$) And, the mechanic called, I need a new transmission...which because it is a known problematic transmission to begin with (Nissan CVT transmission, for anyone interested in what type of car NOT to buy if they don't want their transmission to crap out between 115,000 and 125,000 miles) they will only guarantee for 12 months or 12,000 miles.
Is this year over yet??
I'm going to try to catch up with everyone later, hope all is well with the kitties!
