Zener is fine this morning. Appy is OK. He did a little yard patrol. On his second round of yard patrol, I forgot about him and he was out for quite a while. :oops: He has forgiven me. He is a bit of a bouncy rainbow kitty today. He is drinking quite a bit, definitely more than can be explained by dry weather or ECID. We'll see what the vet says tomorrow. Anne had to go in to school for an 8 am meeting which is scheduled for 3 hours then another college meeting this afternoon. Ugh! Mine are on Wednesday. At least mine start at 9. Happy Monday LL! Sending healing vines to Carla and Moonie (who is doing MUCH better :-D :-D ).

Happy Monday! Whoops on forgetting Zener.....but hey you did remember after a little while right? :lol: Looks like Zener will have a nice day in the blues. Hope the vet can give you some insight on the drinking.

Oh no with forgetting Zener! Hey Zener, I would milk that one with all you've got! :lol: Ask for extra treats, a walk, just a few suggestions from Mags. Sending good Vetty vines tomorrow. I hope it is nothing to worry about, but good you're getting him checked. A blood panel would show what's changed. Have a nice day.

Sending along some good vetty vines for tomorrow. I am hoping for a simple solution. I see Zener is teasing with the low blue/not quite greens today too.

Funny on forgetting Zener outside. Does he start mewing to let you know it's time to let him in? He was probably having fun with the extra time out.

A nice blue PMPS to start the evening and happy appy! :-D It was sure a rude awakening to return to the land of academia today, sabbatical over, reality has arrived and back to work. :cry:

@Devon - Zener got over his extra outdoor time and all is well. :razz:

@macal - he wasn't out too long before Liz remembered, and it wasn't all that cold today, above freezing and even all the way into the 40s, practically balmy. :lol:

@Ann & Tess - LOVE the picture! Z is such a trooper, he forgives very quickly. :-D

@Michelle & Scrabble - Zener loves rainbows and slides, beans don't too much. :lol:

@Ann & Maggie - the mighty Z didn't ask for anything but extra love. cat_pet_icon

@Amy & TrixieCat - the classic Zener slide, not sure if he hit the lagoon or not, but nice blues anyway. :-D

@Wendy & Neko - Zener does love to surprise us, we never know what will happen with his BG values. :lol:

@carla - the big guy is easy to forgive, what a sweetheart. :razz:

Thanks to all for the vetty vines. We have paws crossed it's not something serious, his BG numbers are good, his appy has been pretty darn good, he seems to be feeling good in general, so all good points in his favor. But his water consumption and peeing have definitely increased in the past few weeks. Running the blood panel will either put our minds at ease that all is well or let us know what's happening and how to proceed. Knowledge is power, as we've read here in LL! We'll post a post-vetty report tomorrow evening.

Hope everyone in LL has a restful Monday evening, this night duty bean sure needs one. :lol:

Zener, that's the way to slide! You are the poster boy for the S l i d e. Go for it! Neat that you got to spend some extra time outdoors today. Did you have a picnic? Rusty wants to know if you did any hunting.

So, it sounds like the beans have the new-semester preparations to do. Enjoy(?)

@Ella & Rusty - thanks for the paws crossed for tomorrow! Zener is not telling about his extra time outside, and picnics were held today and tonight. ;-) And yes, beans are up to their eyeballs in preparations for the return of classes next week. :evil:

@Roni & Moonie - the mighty Z does love a good slide. :cool: Thanks for the wishes for a clean bill of health. It's hard to believe something serious can be going on with such good numbers lately, but we will feel much better knowing what could be responsible for his increased fluids in and out. nailbite_smile

Alrighty right, the slide has slowed so the night duty bean is off dreamland. I-)
