WCR: Happy, but threw up a hairball today.

WBR: I'm thinking I missed the boat majorly on his need for an increase or decrease. I haven't been feeling well and I've actually been attempting the sleep thing at night, so I have been falling asleep shortly after his shot. During the days, I haven't been home for many spot checks. My assumption is he hit a low at some point while I've been unable to test and that he likely needed a decrease and now his super high's are in response to that. However I could be completely wrong and he could need to go back up to a 1u. I'm clueless and would like some opinions.

bump for question please

Hi Jordan, sorry you're not feeling too good
:YMHUG:

those are some nasty black numbers - I'm not sure about the answer it could be, without the night time checks...understandable if ur not feeling good,,,,but this will bump u up to get some eyes...its kinda crazy tonite, so hang in there ok?

any ketones testing at all? just thought I'd ask,

Goodness Ronnie... you think Willow would ever decide to cooperate for ketone testing when I actually want him to? That's crazy talk. ohmygod_smile hehe I'm trying... unsuccessfully.

tonight would be a good night to get some spot checks, since this is his lowest PMPS for a while and it's quite a bit lower than AMPS. If he's going to show you a low number, this is the type of cycle it could happen on. I'm inclined to think he's going lower and we're missing it, but it would be nice to SEE the number.

Hope you feel better soon!

Re: 1/7 Willow PMPS~208, +4~543

Not a happy number. He's happy as can be "helping" me play my facebook games while I attempt to stay awake.

Hi - Do you have something to test ketones with? Some folk can't do the litter box stalking thing and instead take a freshish pee ball and dissolve it in little water and test that. Sound weird I know - but mostly works. You do need to test clean litter first - just to make sure the litter you use doesn't give you ketones all on it's own. As long as the clean litter is negative - you should be able to test the "pee ball" and see if it is showing ketones.

I have a clean litterbox and I do have test strips and I know my litter doesn't show ketones falsely... now I just need a certain cat to pee while I'm home and awake, so I can find the clump shortly after he does it.
