Got a little New Dose Flatness going on here. I fattened her up last night. At least she came down from the yellow floor...
I'm afraid to say it, but all still seems well with the civvies, ever since I switched their fuds back to Orijen. No one has barfed (anti-jinx) since last week (it had become a daily occurance), everyone is coming pretty darned close to CPC (anti-jinx). The change was so gradual that I hadn't realized how much all their appies dropped off while eating the Blue Basics until I made this switch back to Orijen. It's a PIA, because the Blue Basics was far better for them as far as solid poos go, but there seemed to be something about it that just did not agree with them otherwise - to the point where they looked like they were fading. Now that they're back on Orijen, I don't know how the boxes were today (DH does them, and I haven't asked for a report yet), but as of yesterday they were still not bad. I swear they look like they've already gained some weight back (anti-jinx). I'm going to see if I can dig up some batteries for my baby scale to get an idea. Sooo..as of now, I still don't know what to do about doing an ultrasound for Petey. As the days have passed by with this food switch, overall to me it seems that everything has been food-related..he is bright-eyed, eating, not barfing, playing, looking heavier. And, from what I've read, it's possible that the elevated calcium could be food related, too. Ugh. I do have a check up appointment for Zen on Wednesday, since he had the same symptoms as Pete...and, just like Pete, now he's not barfing and looks like he has gained weight, too. I'm curious to see if he has the same BW results...but, since I've switched his fuds, it won't be a completely accurate comparison. Crazy...and kind of scary, if food could cause this. But, they're littermates who have all the same issues to begin with, so...
I'm off today, but have tons of housework to catch up on...I've been pretty neglectful over the past few weeks.
Have a great day, LL!
