Great start to the day BG wise but he hasnt let me inject him. He is totally mistrusting of me, I suppose as I broke our unspoken rule last night and picked him up and tested and shot. All other times I let him come to me. Its just the kind lady had already been there 1/2 an hour, she is giving so much (she wont let me pay her and said I can feed her cat when she is away - she said she is only helping me for next week and then I can train someone else up but anyway already she has given me - a total stranger- so much of her time) so I broke my and Marley's trust.

I just did a mini one of the betrayals too. He came for his test but then changed his mind and wanted to go. I should have let him But I made him stay - all best gently but I still forced him too.

Now he wont come for shot or food. He's upstairs and being so stubborn. After a year and the financial situation crashing in on me, I am really at the end of my patience too. Not in anyway that I am thinking of giving him away or putting him down - nothing like that. But I mean I just cant go on giving e every last drop of energy I have and more. He surely should trust me a bit more by now.
 
Sorry he's giving you such a hard time. They don't always know what is good for them. Bandit hates her meds and getting fluids. Fortunately she is a gentle soul. My civvie Budge is the opposite and we've always had to chase he across the house when we've had to pill her etc.

How late were you shooting this morning? Yes, typically you want to shoot no later than 11.5 hours after the morning shot.
 
It might have even been a fur shot.

Also I took off the 151 or AMPS as the real AMPS became 308. I should record the original meant to be +12 AMPS of 151 where?
 
I've made the changes to your SS. If he stays high and you think it was a furshot, you could possibly shoot at your usual time tonight.
 
Ok that is important to know thank you! . The lady cant come t tonight either way as she was cutting it fine with her schedule anyway. and I thought that +10 was the earliest I could do even with a fur shot, (which would take me to 20 later than a normal shot) ......anyway I felt like I had to make a decisions, so she isnt coming tonight.

There is another lady who said she will train up, who is coming tomorrow. I could see if she wants to come tonight...but I will wait to see if it was a fur shot or not, as I dont want to confuse her time wise......

Its pretty early in the day here in the UK (9 am ish) but I tell you I am ready for bed!
 
He might not let me test at -+ 3 let’s see……

if he doesn’t and doesn’t come out for any of his foods do we trust he’s not low enough to worry about? Or could he be super low and hungry but too scared?
I think I know the answer. He’s so stubborn and frightened that he likely would not come out even if he needed
 
What if you were to slide a bowl of food under the bed so that he has food available should he want to eat it?
 
He def will eat it if I do but then he def won’t come out.
Do you think if I eating ti +4 and not f he’s not come out I can leave him the food and go?

Ok hes had had his portion now. I haven't been able to do a test I dont know what time I have to come back as in if I can shoot at regular time or if I need to wait until 2hours 20 mins later. ......

What a horrible day. Feels like back to square one.

And we were ticking along so well before I tried to introduce a new person into the mix

Wouldn't you normally be back home at the usual time of his shot?
 
I'm leaving so late now, to get the hours in I might stay later if possible.....

But its fine, ill just come back.

But anyway - say I do a test at normal AMPS which will be just under +10 hours..........how would I know if hes on the way up or down? Sometimes he's had very late dips? So it might not be prudent to give him a shot until ive done 2 tests?
 
I'll get home at normal shot time - do a test, and then should I do another testa bit later? How much later?

You could split the difference and shoot an hour later that your normal time. So 11 hours from your morning shot. That way you needn't rush back.
 
Thank you! I couldnt reply earlier as we were needing the plug in cable, but good idea. In the end I came back a bit earlier anyway!
