Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! I just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! Anybody wanna hang out in Mannie's treehouse today? We are opens to anything, so let us know! The zip lines are up and running, we have been testing them! :-D so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. It ended up being a let the day evolve day. One of those where one thing led to another, until I finally decided, I need a river visit of any sort! :-D just to be out, and to regroup from Lola's shenanigans of the morning. So that is what I did: rains or no rains, cold or no cold, fog or no fog... I had hoped to head away from civilization, but it was cold out there, so decide to pursue an urban river walk instead. Here s what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi Everyone ! WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: I knew it was the calm before the storm. :o :o :o :o The tally so far this morning, only: Three upturned dug up plants, dirt flew everywhere. Two upturned water bowls, that held floating candles, water flew everywhere, on the floor, onto books and magazines, on bookcase shelves. AND (!!) one chewed up box. Lola got a time out. oh sure on that.... she just looked at me with those sweet little miss innocent eyes, and said sorry mom..... :roll: :roll: :roll: I think I will turn in my mom title and go take a local river walk. I hope the house is still standing when I get back. :lol: " "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Lola has mellowed, and no more destruction! :-D :lol: :lol: :lol: darn cat, and I love her so. We continue to be in eh 30's. Not all that cold, but dang sure felt colder than that when I was out today. I feel for all of you that are dealing with the record cold the midwest and east cost are experiencing. I went and walked the Sammamish River trail, out of Bothell, to another trail, looped back and then down to Woodinville. I think I got maybe 7.5 miles out of that. Not too bad. It was really damp out, so that cold really felt cold. and the the winds picked up. Brrrr. It still was nice to get out, even if it just plain cold. River sure was low. There were lots of places for the little guy today, where he could have gotten down without issue to the banks of the river. Ducks a-plenty too. :-D :cool: I will have to get him back there when it warms up some. Funny there were no kids there on that play area. Can't day that I blame them today. Be safe everyone, and stay warm."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: The kitties were good kitties yesterday - but not Lola. Fancy that! Well, normal Lola. :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: She had been so good since the tree removal. For a brief moment in time I had thought maybe she had mellowed some, was more sedate. WHAT WAS I THINKING?????? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: There is just never a dull moment with her, and in all reality it is part of her charm. It is always such fun to come home and wonder what will see when I walk in the door. And it is always the same. Bug at the top of the stairs, waiting. Elsa in bed with that "oh, it's you" look. And then there is Lola, and whatever mischief she managed to cause while I was gone. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Well yesterday plant mess has been cleaned up, the water mess mopped up,and the shredding recycled. So Lola.... what is on the agenda today? :lol: :lol: :lol: OH! Elsa seems to like her reassertion of her position of authority. Several times yesterday I saw her whack either Bug or Lola, usually when they went after what she wanted, or was looking at. :lol: :lol: :lol: She is getting bold in her old age. GO ELSA! wow.... and a for sure: Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am meeting my friend in Seattle later today, for a coffee get-together, We've had to miss a few due to the holidays, It will be good to get together again. I Also have a DR appt in the morning, for a routine yearly checkup with my gyno Dr. Woo hoo - I can hardly wait for that.... not.

Oh, Lola...I bet she misses her tree! Maybe since the trapeze contraption won't work, a big fancy cat tree of her very own would (help) keep her out of trouble - at least for a day or two? She's just a little too curious, that one!

Morning everyone! I hope all my LL friends are staying warm. Dang it is COLD out there. Here we sit in the PNW at 40, rains coming. Somehow I feel guilty..... :?

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) Lola is Lola, you gotta love all that she does, she does it with such enthusiasm! :lol: :lol: Elsa is great - I really like the fact that she is asserting her place around here. Kinda nice to see. THX, and will do on today.

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) Could be on the tree. I so wish I had a place for that trapeze.... it would be so perfect for her. I have been thinking about some sort of cat tree - she'd take to that I think. Oh yes, always the curious one. I saw a post the other day on reading cat tails, and what the position of their means. Hers is in the same position alot of the time the one that means "interested." yupp, fits her to a T. interested, and she always acts on that interest. THX on today!

HI everyone! Been a slow moving day here. YaHOO on that. Seattle was fun, and I enjoyed the rime with my friend. I passed my annual gyno exam, no issues. SWEET! Other than that, not much happening. Been watching the rains fall this afternoon. :lol: ;-)

Hi Liz - I know..... what will I do this this kitty! :roll: LOL on the tree, maybe so huh! I sow ant that trapeze that I saw a while back - wish I had room! :roll: Oh too fun ny on seeing that 30 as BG. Yupp that would be a :shock: for sure! I remember the few occasions when Nannie threw me those 30's. That was my response: :shock:
 
Lola sure likes to keep you on your toes. Just think how boring things would be without her around. :lol: How great Elsa is letting Lola and Bug know who's in charge.

I'm glad you had a good time in Seattle and all went well with your doctor visit.

7.5 miles in cold, rainy weather is not an easy hike. Kudos to you! Great to hear that you had a good Seattle day with your friend and that you passed your yearly physical. :-D

Lola needs a recreation room!! Be sure to send her out to curling practice tomorrow so she can burn off some energy by sliding on the ice.

Elsa, tomorrow please bring very strong ~O) . I'm going to need it on my climb. You are the very best, Kitteh Barista!

Oh, blech on dr woo hoo. :? Well, so much for your plants! You did call it :lol: Silly Lola. You gotta love them! Hi Ella - Hey thx on the hike, it wasn't much of a climb, but it was a long one. THX too on today. Seattle is always good, and I am just glad I passed DR. A relief! :-D OOOOOOOOOO! I like that idea! A recreation room for Lola. Hmmmmm.....maybe convert my garage! Gotcha on curling practice. I will make sure she shows up. I hear she was a wicked broom technique. and nope! all the plants tonight are safe and sound in their little pots. :-D

I know on the temps, i don't dare say what we have been having to anyone else! But Emma enjoys her heater and Tess has claimed the down comforter on the bed!

LOLA!! You go girlfriend! Did you hear what your bean said?? Your own permanent tree! Can I come and play in it??? What a silly bean, she thinks you did all that on your own??? Hee, hee, heeeeee thanks for taking all the heat! -- Emma
 
Oh, LOLA! You better watch it or your mama's gonna duct tape you to the wall when she has to leave the house! Either that or she's gonna put you in kitty jail! :o Glad you got out and about to enjoy the weather and nature. Soak some in for me!

Hi Ann - Yupp on the temps! me too. It is cool for us, but not as frigid as elsewhere. all the kitties here are all snuggled in their beds - even Lola.
Emma - GF! You rock! I KNOW!!! a permanent tree! How cool is that! I haven't seen her shopping yet though,.....maybe I need to wreck come more havoc so she will shop. heeheehee.... and you betcha! When i get it you gotta come and play. no problem on the heat though the bean wonders where all that white fur came from... my lips are sealed!~~ Lola, partner i crime....

Hi Deborah - I so know on the kitty jail! :lol: :lol: and the duct tape to the wall. wouldn't that e a hoot. LOL, I bet she'd gnaw through it. :lol: :lol: THX on the getting out - it was fun, and soak up for you I shall.
