She seems a bit happier today - eyes still watery but no 3rd eyelid showing so maybe she's getting over her cold.
But, boy, did she snore last night !!

I am having a lot of problems getting the eye ointment in - not sure if I'm doing it right. I'm going for speed rather than accuracy (ie. stick it in fast, but not getting it in the lower or upper rim of eye)

Drat the eye ointment! I'd prolly have that stuff smeared all over the cat, myself and the walls :lol: At least she's holding her numbers pretty well. Hang in there!

Hi guys .. glad to hear honey is on the mend! Sometimes we have to do artificial tears for mocha .. thankfully peter helps with it so one of us can hold her upper and bottom eye area open (if that makes sense? like the top/bottom eyelash area on a human?) and then we run a line of ointment over the eye, then we close the eyes manually a few times to smear it in .. maybe that will help? have a great day guys!

Hi guys nice day so far! Darn on the ointment it would probably help to have someone else to assist you. You poor thing getting scratched! Who wants ointment put in their eye anyway, lol?! Glad to hear she seems to be feeling better. Take care and have a good evening!

So, we finally have some improvement in Honey's cold!
She is eating much better - licking her dish clean and having 2nd plates an hour or so later. Her eyes are looking so much better - no 3rd eyelid showing.

She's now meowing for me to come to play with her. She likes me to throw her ball and she makes a jump for it and then I have to go fetch and repeat.
She loves it, I'm not so keen :?

Numbers are still 'funny' - we seem to go up at +6 and then down again for pmps

I'm glad she's doing better! Also glad the third eyelid is now back in normal position. How is Minkies?

Are you still giving her fluids?
