Made it thru the first week of the new year!
AMBG 82:D
Gussie got 100 ml fluids last nite, it went better than the last times..maybe he is starting to figure out it helps.
We are still sticking with the healthy food only, his turkey and supplement with FD chicken crumbled on top. He is initially not pleased with the offering but I leave it to him as to when or if he wants to eat. He is eating but on his own schedule and tho I'd like him to eat more and gain some weight all in his time...
Keeping the Zofran, Bupe T and cypro as needed in a small dose going. And he is still on the Zenequin AB. He was sniffly again this morning..odd how that comes and goes..seems more like an allergy response to me..
I got the biopsy results this morning and will now wait for The surgery office to call to schedule. Makes me nervous as it is on my eyelid..crummy place to have skin cancer..:( hope the surgeon has steady hands and used to be a quilter;)
So I basically took an under the covers, sleep bad news away kind of day..just could not jerk my eyeballs open for any length of time...sound familiar?:bighug:
Trying to catch back up with each of you, if I missed anybody's news it was not by intention:bighug:
Surf safely kitties, work that juice and hang in there tired beans:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Les, What???? If any consolation, a friend had a tumor, (was cancer) that also was on underside of eyelid, removed about a year ago. She's doing well. So, we're sending tons of vines and hugs and ❤️❤️❤️❤️your way for good surgery and recovery.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Am very glad that you and Gussie are back to the balance of it all for team Gus and Les. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Have a good night....and sending you some snowflakes for you and your tribe to play in! ;):cat:;)
:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, it's actually on the outside of the eyelid!
Gussie just managed to picket the Zofran gelcap, came in drooling and foaming and then proceeded to throw up everything I got him to eat tonight, :banghead::blackeye::(
Now he looks really really uncomfortable and is meat loafing.:arghh::arghh:
Guessing this will make getting him to eat again difficult..:arghh:
Poor cat:(
Headed back under the covers now..

I'm sorry it's been such a crummy day. Any chance of getting your vet to give you some injectable Ondansetron for occasions like today? It stings a little, but it works faster than the pills and you don't risk their biting into it. It's also good to give when they are throwing up.

Sorry about your eyelid. Keep us posted on when the proceedure will be done so we can cloak you in vines.

Speaking of vines, sending good tummy and appy vines to Gussie.

:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Les I am so sorry to hear you have to have surgery on your eyelid.:bighug::bighug:
They do marvellous things these days....just not much fun having it done.

What a shame Gussie bit through the gelcap and got the zofran then vomited. Poor fellow!
The zofran wafers I use are not unpleasant to take and I just place them on Sheba's tongue. Can you get them?

Sending many vines to you and Gussie and hoping tomorrow is a better day:bighug:

Sorry to hear about your eye Les! When I had lasik done years ago it scared me to death especially since you're awake when they do it. My surgeon pulled an extra valium out of his pocket and gave it to me. I was convinced at that point the surgeon was a valium addict and had super steady hands because of it. :p Ok, that's my attempt to get you to laugh a little today. All kidding aside we're sending continues vines prayers and :bighug::bighug: for you. I think Elise mentioned Anzemt as an injectable alternative that really stings a lot less. Please Gussie, feel better and eat your fuds buddy.
