WCR he is more himself this morning breffis one and two have been eaten some FF beef for no. 1 and wellness turkey and salmon for no.2 all P's in place looks like we might be clearing the bounce :?: hope so off to visit condos ~O) ~O) still need a home for Ladybug if any of you know of someone looking for a cat would gladly meet someone with her if the driving is not too terribly far finding her a home has really become a frustrating :roll: :sad:

I hope you find a good home for LadyBug. Its not an option for us unfortunately :(

Looks like Do Lou is going to give you some good numbers today. :-D I hope you can find a home for Ladybug. I think I'm a little too far for you. :lol:

Yes Celi she is a cat that walked up to me at the forest where i hike and got in my car pics on FB

pmps 243 DH and I went for a nice walk in the snow flurries today :-D I need to make myself get out in winter more used to hike all the time no matter what weather was but now I just ride the stationary bike in the warm house since I stay so cold ~O) but I sooooo enjoy hiking :mrgreen: anyway then we went to one of our fav places to eat for early dinner very nice time came home to a yellow DL

found a lump between his shoulder blades I think its shot related but Do Lou goes in to the vet next month for his heart checkup, BP bloodwork, C&S kinda the works sooo going to have the vet look at it then and be prepared to remove if needed I asked today on the phone if I could still stay with him even though i am no longer a tech there and my vet said of course Lisa so thats a relief Do Lou since he cannot see gets pretty upset without me at the vets office he will be sedated for all this anyway because of getting the urine but yeah I am a worrier...

Wishing the lump is nothing worrysome! Does Ladybug not get along with everyone at your house? She really looks so precious. And she knew you were a loving home or she wouldn't have picked you.

no its not a matter of Ladybug not liking other cats its a matter of Lisa cannot add to her numbers with being a aby breeder and having so many pets anyway I have a constant keep my numbers at a certain level here one of the problems I guess you could say of breeding at this time keeping her is just not possible although she certainly has not gone anywhere yet LOL my cats are all separated here Karrie and take turns running the house another joy of breeding you just cannot let everyone hang together it just does not work soooo this is why she cannot stay would love to keep her but its like me with my retired adults if I am going to breed I have to let go anyway....... I am rambling
 
Hi Lisa & Do Lou. Pretty nice numbers today for D.L. I do hope you will find a good home for Ladybug. She deserves it: such a brave girl! Good luck with Do Lou's checkup. I'm sure the lump is shot-related; lots of beans seem to have this issue lately. Anyway, lots of vines and snowflakes for a good checkup are on their way.

I'm glad that your migraines are much better with less stress, but it's too bad you had to give up your job. I hope that your doctors will be able to figure out what is going on. I'll send a few vines and snowflakes to you, just for good measure!!

She found out (eventually) that she had an auto-immune condition that caused excessively HIGH Vitamin D.

To diagnose -- she had a blood test for vitamin D levels -- frozen -- to differentiate "active" and inactive or something like that. The DIFFERENCE was important --because the level on a regular blood panel showed OK.

Normally, the active and inactive should be at similar levels --- hers were way out of whack.

This was caused by an infection similar to Lyme disease that was at the cell level -- normal antibiotics cannot go into the cells to fight infection -- so a combination with blood pressure med was needed.

The treatment that helped her a lot:
Blood pressure med that weakened the cell walls
antibiotics

She had to take these meds for over a year, but she no longer has any migraines!! and feels much better.
