Snow, snow every where. We got at least 3 inches overnight and there will be more...MORE today as the lake effect settles in.

Everybody curled up on the warm places sleeping.

Me...I'm trying to get my paperwork together for "taxes" and trying to figure out the new online system for sales tax...which I am totally lost. The goofy thing is still trying to tax my gross sales on tax-exempt sales? Unless a tax law changed and I don't know about it...

So, I am going to suck it up and see if I can find a CPA today. Of course my first stop is the gal who has done all my personal taxes for years. You know stuff like this does makes me a bit bonkers and while I can often be heard yipping & yapping about the government 'rules,' all these tax things are just loopholes for whatever special interests. Well at least I'm learning on this stuff and with a business that I haven't even drawn my first paycheck from yet. :lol: I realized this time would eventually come, but I didn't think I'd need to hire someone this soon. :roll:

Whoop....there's Gary. Dropped a towel on the snow covered step with a bowl of kibbies.

Snuck out the other door and placed another hot sock in the lodge. Checked last nights sock and found it already cold, but the straw all nested up for warmth.

I luves my neighbor...he is here with his snowblower clearing my driveway!!!!

And Attie finally put a good scratch on the cat tree...

I will try and get a few pics of him, but with his timing ...arrives at dusk & early dawn it might be hard. Also would like to get a pic up of his "lodge."

He appears well fed this winter. And that would not be from only me. We do maybe a quarter can wet...and when that's gone a bit of kibbie. I'll need to get out to Walmart for more strips and food for him.

In fact even MudCat needs a trip to the Farmer's Exchange for her fuds too.

Now looks like a green surf from last night through this morning...


Although I do have a feeding question:

There are times he misses his timed feeding now. I am not sure if I should encourage him to eat anyway or let it slide? I've been encouraging him when I 'catch' it, but this morning he missed his +1, but was looking for the +2. Since we're doing raw, I took the +1 and added it to the +2. Which he ate all of it.

Staying warm sitting here in my longjohns, jeans, and sweater. Current temp is 19F, with a windchill of 7F and....

Lake effect snow showers will continue this morning with an
additional 3 to locally 6 inches of snow possible before the snow
ends by early afternoon.

Lake effect snow showers will redevelop overnight as another cold
front pushes across the area. The snow will redevelop toward
midnight tonight with 6 to locally 10 inches of new snow possible
by daybreak Sunday.

So with 4 inches last night, plus 6 more through tomorrow and another 10 by daybreak Sunday...

OMG!!! That's 20 inches of snow!!!! Glad we're not NYC. :lol:

I don't know if there's a "right" answer to this....with Tinkles, it depends on the situation. If he misses his +6 snack during the night, I'm usually sleeping and he's out of luck because the civie eats it. If I wake up and he's an hour late or so, I give it to him then...if it's any later than that, I don't give it because it's too late in the cycle and may increase his AMPS.

He almost never misses his early mini meals, but if he does, I usually give it to him when I discover it and then adjust his other mini meals to slightly later to keep them staggered. If it's time for the next mm, I just skip the one he missed. I don't worry about him not getting enough calories because he makes up for it when he has low numbers anyway!!

He skipped his 11am feeding and tried skipping the 12pm....

So now we're feeding a 0.5 at +7 and there will be nothing until shot time.

Looks like the surf is ending and the climb may be underway.

Well I'm off to WallyWorld while we have the afternoon snow break and the main streets should be cleared. This weekend is snow, snow, and snow.

Nice run of #s today & the snow/lake sound amazingly beautiful in my mind.. none for me though.. snow makes me tooooooo cold!

Back from the World....man I need to focus when I go in there. Well, it really wasn't too bad considering the only test strips they had was the 100 ct. box and they over 50% of the bill. :o

Home again and filled the bird feeder, the bark butter feeder (the woodpeckers were grateful), got MudCat food at the exchange, food for Gary...and all is well with the world.

Attie is doing phenomenally well today...shish....this is happening more often. He is creeping up there, but maybe tonight's shot will knock him back and we can call his blue PS the bounce confused_cat

Yeah...I know don't hold my breath... :roll:

What an awesome day for Attie - great numbers. I hope the PM cycle is as good.

And dang it is cold here! But I bet very beautiful Kudos to your neighbor for your driveway - how nice is that!

I hope too that all is well with Gary. Amazing that he does as well as he does in weather like that.

Please keep your weather to yourself. I've heard we have snow in the forecast for Sunday. In Charleston, SC! We already had some snow the day after Christmas. My car even froze shut. That is NOT supposed to happen here!

What great progress Attie has been making lately and I also hope he has graduated from LTS University!!!

Brrrrrr on your weather and wishing you lots of good luck with the "T" word....it's almost that time of year for us all...uggghhhh.

We even have flurries predicted for Sunday nite - in Dallas! 7 degrees, man-o-man! I can't imagine. loved the parkour video you put in Binks condo - amazing to watch. nice run of numbers for Attie today. who's Gary?

I stayed up to get the +5....ugh...

OMG I have wasted 4 test strips and aggravated Attie to the max....with pokies.

I can get the drop of blood, but the strips take forever to sip and then don't read...

Me thinks there is more than just the "bleepin" recall issue with the Wallmart strips. Some sort of quality issue beyond just not reading right... angry(2)_cat

Attie seems fine ....he just finished his +5 Mini-meal. He does have a midnight snack tonight...

I am going to bed and setting the alarm for the 1am check. I really wanted this plus 5 reading... grr_red
