Good Morning LL

Starting the day pretty much like yesterday. Here's what happened yesterday

Wishing everyone a great day.

Re: 1/6 Zeke 146

His spreadsheet is looking beautiful. Hoping for another green day for Mr.Z.

Re: 1/6 Zeke 146

Come on Zeke...nice AMPS and let's see a safe green nadir for your mom!

Have a good day at TBP, Laura.

What's TBP?

So far the cycle is almost identical to last nights. Makes it so much easier to manage  .

Thank you Zekey cat_pet_icon

Re: 1/6 Zeke 146; +3.25 =69

   I've been racking my brain all morning on this. Fortunately, it's the TNSBP for me.

Re: 1/6 Zeke 146; +3.25 =69

TNSBP....ok you got me! "totally not so bad place"?

Mine isn't either but TBP is a term coined in FDMB a long time ago. It's even in the FDMB dictionary :-D

Re: 1/6 Zeke 146; +3.25 =69

Haha, well I'm at the TBP now (it's not TNSBP! ) ;-) Zeke is looking good! I hope he's surfing that green nice and safe for you!

Re: 1/6 Zeke 146; +3.25 =69

Thanks Rachel for stopping by. I'm sorry about the TBP. Mine might be TNSBP but I'd rather be home with my little Zekey and our civies Ivan & Mia. cat_pet_icon
Hey wouldn't we all.

Thanks Kat for stopping by. Please keep those paws crossed, we'll take all that we can get. Zeke was a very thoughtful kitty and picked the best times to put me to the test (when I wasn't at TNSBP). We had to change our holiday plans but Mr. Zeke is so worth it.

Re: 1/6 Zeke 133; +1 = 177; +2.25 + 126

I've been sticking with feeding Zeke 1.5T of 7% during the first hour so I don't know why some times Zeke spikes at +1 and other times he's flat or down. Today, after getting the 177 at +1 (a spike of nearly 50), I changed up the food routine a bit for the +2 feeding. I only gave him 1t of 4%. I did however give him 7% at +2.5 when I saw him drop (~50).

Because some time he rises, but other times he drops, does it make sense to always give him 7% at shot time? Is there anything I can do to try and flatten him out?

Re: 1/6 Zeke 133; +1=177;+3.25= 69

Sometimes it takes a while for a change to really manifest itself.

The thing is, I don't think you know at AMPS whether he's going to drop or not. If you could find a way to predict it, then you choose when to feed the 7%. But since you can't see it on days like today, you are better going with the 7% consistently.

You can only help flatten the cycle by feeding greater carbs (up to 1O%].

Re: 1/6 Zeke 133; +1=177;+3.25= 69

Marje - is it better to flatten the cycle by giving the 10% even if that means he may not dip to green or leaving things for Zeke as they now?

I think things are going fantastic "as is", Laura.

I've been bothered that he's only at blue come at PS. Additionally, he's been spending less time in green. So I start wondering "Is this a rising trend"? Well, this morning his PS was 203. Now I'm really wondering. :-(
