Yesterday's post

Xander still eating great with the meds and being very curious and needy. I just gave him another cerenia dose and have one dose left for tomorrow. Not sure if i'll see how he does after that without meds, or give him the ondansetron I have for a little longer. Still applying a small amount of mirataz as well, I think i'll discontinue this a day or so after the nausea meds.

I tried out the bone broth and he didn't seem interested . I may have diluted it too much so I'll try again later.

Great eating news! I’m following along on your broth journey as well. We tried a couple off Amazon and no luck. Just been watering down food in the meantime.

Im so glad hes eating well. Thats wonderful!! I would be careful about stopping the meds tho. They could be whats helping him to want to eat. Hes such a beautiful boy!!

I'm going to try less diluted later and see how it goes. I may have concentrated it a bit too much in the cooking process (its a solid gel cube in the fridge) so was unsure how much water to add.

I don't know if it's the effects of the mirataz or just him feeling better, but he is nonstop wanting to be in my lap in the mornings. I had to close my door to get some work done

That's my biggest worry, being unsure how soon I should try to see if he's feeling better without the meds. I have the ondansetron and mirataz on hand and could quickly get back on meds if I notice a big change in his appetite.

Ugh I just found a cerenia capsule in his bed blanket. I'm not sure if its from today or a previous day's dose. Today I chased the pill with a little water in a syringe and a treat, and I watched him for a few minutes afterwards so I don't think its from today. He is extremely sneaky with hiding these pills

The capsule was still intact and not dissolved, so I guess I now have 2 more days of doses I can give...
