Super...quick...Dad's 7th round of chemo is today and I'm running late!

She's making good on her new years resolution of greens :D:D:D! Happy appy, snuggly, etc. Almost had a gelcap fiasco this morning...she was tense before I even tried once for some reason. But, I managed to get it down only 10 minutes behind schedule.

Thanks for all the visits and compliments on the cabinet...I really had a great time painting it.

Gotta run before the folks get here...have a great day, LL!

Amy

Not too bad for Trix this evening, especially since I wasn't here for her magical +9 snicky-snack. Maybe she helped herself to one of the snacks I left out!

@Ann - My Dad's course of treatment is a bit of an unknown, because his case is so crazy. He has 3 primary cancers - stomach, prostate, and colorectal. He's considered Stage IV. Before he started treatment last summer, the doc said he'd receive treatment "as long as it's working". Well, it's more than working...it's annhilating the cancer (most of it is gone from view in the scans, and that which is left has significantly shrunk), when they really just expected it to stay kind of steady until it didn't stay steady any more. On top of that, my Dad tolerates the treatment extremely well...far better than most folks, much less folks his age (82). Originally docs said surgery was not an option....I don't know if that opinion will change if he stays on course like this or not. It's all up in the air. For now, we are more than happy with how things are going.

Not too shabby at all today for Trixie!
I'm so glad your Dad is doing ok through his treatment. Continuing to send many vines! :bighug:

And the cabinet looks wonderful! I'm inspired, Amy... Have a great evening!

Amy- What a wonderful report for your DF-- I just bet his doctors are a little stunned at his results;it is not uncommon for docs to write off elderly patients, but the fact that your dad proved them wrong is extra sweet! Since we have no crystal ball, all we can do is enjoy the present moments and how good he seems to be feeling- tons and tons more healing vines and hugs to you and your family! :bighug:

Trixie- You go Girl!! :D:D

Hi Amy,
We are so glad that your dad is doing well and tolerating the chemo. I'll bet the doctors are elated that he is doing so well.

Nice day for Trixie, too. Have a good evening.

Trixie. Looking good! Keep it up...or down, I guess.

It's great that your dad is doing not just well, but absolutely amazingly fantastic. I bet everyone at the center is excited to see this. I sure am!

What a happy condo today! It's all good - Trixie is making good on her resolution (which I kind of foisted on her), and your DF is showing that Cancer who is Boss! Love it!!!

Sending lots more Kick Cancer's Ass vines for your DF! :woot:

I was impressed with your cabinets yesterday too and I'm mega impressed with your Dad's progress - go Dad!
