Everything is looking good this morning -- 4 out of 5 P's in place. Simon doesn't seem to be pooping very much, but I guess that is because he isn't eating dry food anymore. He doesn't feel constipated and he is eating well and playing. Someone did throw up yesterday, but I don't know if it was Simon or my civvie. I'm going to make a vet appointment soon to get a urinalysis done and just to get an overall check up since he has been on the lantus.

Hi,
Simon is looking good. I, too, have had problems with Maggie and lb (not pooping). My Vet said I can give her a little Miralax sprinkled in with her wet (very little). You might ask your Vet. Good luck with the Vet visit.

Simon is looking amazing. Just make sure what is in the litterbox isn't showing signs of constipation (hard small pebbles). Maverick actually had a serious issue with constipation when we switched him to wet food. Turns out he needed a form of fibre that was in kibble. Our vet had never heard of a cat getting constipated on 100% wet food. So just watch for signs of constipation. The mirilax is a big help for many cats. Maverick was a tough case though.

Thanks for the advice on the miralax. I'll ask my vet about it and I will also pay more attention to what his stool looks like. Both my cats use the same litterboxes so it is hard to tell who is doing what. I guess i could always separate them for a day to see what is going on.

Chances are that Simon is more completely utilizing what's in the canned food so there's less waste. This happened when I switched my cats to raw.

Binks, thanks for the laugh. You are right, Simon is a private cat and probably doesn't want everyone to know his bizness!
