Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is snug in his little bed by the radiator. We had 50 degrees F. and rain/wind all night and now the temperature has dropped and the rain has turned to sleet/snow. What a lovely day!! This morning I added a drop to Rusty's dose and am calling it a skinny 2 units (2.77mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe). It was a bloodshot (more than just a nicked capillary)! Not what I wanted to give!! I wish I could get Rusty to cooperate with his shots these days. He won't lie down properly and I can't get the angles right. I tell him that if he doesn't want his shots, he can go OTJ! We had a good schmooze. Edward is baking bread. All our lovely snow is melted down and iced over. Ugh!

Today we will take down our Xmas tree. That's a good occupation in this weather.

Everyone stay warm and safe in the big storm. Parts of our area are supposed to get 2-3 feet of snow (lake-effect) from this storm.

Sending healing vines to all who need them. Celebrating Errol's OTJ!

Re: 1/6 Rusty AMPS 198; dosecrease

Petty blue morning for Rusty :-D

Hi Ella

Oh, I bet your house smells wonderful. We also had sleet/hail, beating against the windows last night, and this morning it ws treacherous. I wondered why the birds were avoiding a certain feeder, and discovered it had gotten soaked overnight, then froze solid!...it's on the floor register, drying & thawing, so I smell toasting sunflower seeds.

Have a good day.

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

YAY for blues! I hope Rusty can find the lagoon today. bummer on the blood shot, those are never fun. Mannie was always so good about his shots. He got them while he was eating, and never seemed the wiser. He ate up on table, and the angle was a good one for me for shooting. Even with that we still had a few of those shots too. I like your bean to Rusty talk: shots or OTJ. :-D

WOW on those weather swings. Amy mentioned the same ting in her condo. Stay warm, and safe. Snow is one thing, but I really do not care for the ice.

Enjoy taking down your tree. :-D

Enjoy your day today I hope all goes well.

Re: 1/6 Rusty AMPS 198; dosecrease

Hi Barb, Happy New Year! Great to hear the weather report from the Southern Tier!
Wow on the toasted sunflower seeds. I'd better go out and check my feeders. It's only just begun to get cold, so they're probably OK for a little while yet. Stay warm!

Smart boy, Rusty, hanging out by the radiator. It sounds like a miserable day outside, but perfect for taking down the Christmas tree. Thank you for the suggestion to drink some Gatorade. I had wondered about drinking to much water. I should put some salt on my food too, which I normally don't do. Stay warm!

Sounds like a great day there, now for greens Rusty! This weather is crazy. Stay safe and warm. Have a great day Ella!

Re: 1/6 Rusty AMPS 198; dosecrease

Nice blue start for Rusty today. I hope the dosecrease helps him find the lagoon. Sorry about the yucky weather.

Re: 1/6 Rusty AMPS 198, +5.5 97; dosecrease

The LagoonMeister is on duty. Just the thing: a dip in the lagoon after a morning of curling practice!

Snow is falling and there is intermittent, fleeting sun. I just emptied the bird feeders and filled them with dry sunflower seeds. That will make the chickadees and goldfinches happy, and the cardinals if they show up today. (the squirrels, too).

bbl,

Ella & Rusty

   Putting that dosecrease into good use! Now you need to surf a little, Rusty! You guys have all been neglecting the upkeep of the Lagoon, Hang around a little longer.

Baking bread just makes everything seem better, even nasty weather! Stay warm! I gave John a Tartine Bread from one of the top artisinal bread bakers in the country. I have high hopes for the future!

Dosecrease is looking good! Sorry that you had a ouchie bloodshot  I hope that Rusty listens to you on the OTJ! :-D I hate it when the snow melts and you have a sheet of ice, and then it snows on top of it; it's so hard to get around, so stay safe! Have a good Monday

Re: 1/6 Rusty AMPS 198, +5.5 97, +9 74, PMPS 112

Hi again,
Rusty had a good cycle today. The extra drop seems to have done it's work. Let's hope he can hold it!

The Xmas tree has been taken down and put into our woods to serve as a wind barrier for the deer and other creatures of the forest. We have blizzard conditions to our west and south, but nothing much here except that it is getting colder by the minute.

Hoping everyone in the path of the storm is safe and warm tonight.

Hi Ella and Rusty,

What lovely numbers today! It sounds like your having some wild weather - I imagine that it will be really beautiful outside once the storm stops. I'm wearing a coat and scarf inside the house and it's supposed to be mid-summer. What's going on here?

Keep it up Rusty.
