Yesterday was a very active cycle in the morning dipping to greens, verified on a handheld meter 74 & 77)

She stayed in the “Lo” range and then no readings in her Libre for several hours. That usually means she’s low on a handheld meter, too. Then of course the Libre shut down and failed since she was lingering in those low numbers for hours on end. So I had to replace the Libre yesterday :blackeye:
I did give her a .25 u dose reduction last night down to 3.5 units since I prefer her to be no lower than she was yesterday.

I’m also not feeling well and needed to get her back to some more stable cycles so I can take care of her OK.

We’ll see how she does on this dose and go from there.

Safe surfing all :cat:

I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well. I’m sure this frigid weather is not helping. I hope you don’t have to get out in it. Even here in Oklahoma we won’t get above freezing this week and a snow storm on the way Thursday.
I think a little reduction would be good. Ivy has such great numbers but those can wear you down especially when you’re feeling bad.
Get well quick! Hugs to you and Ivy!

Hi Staci,
what a day yesterday! :D:D:D I am so sorry for the sensor fail. You are incredible, to replace it right away. Good luck with the reduction! I hope she lets you sleep tonight and you can recover. All the best and healing hugs! :bighug::kiss::bighug:

Hi Staci. I am sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you are able to get rest and that you feel better soon.
Good luck with the reduction and safe surfing!

Thanks, everyone for your sweet wishes.:)
Still feel cruddy but did have a little nap with Ivy today since I didn’t work.
Glad I cancelled my dental appointment. The snow would not have been fun to drive in for 1/2 hour each way.
Hope I can shake whatever this is quickly so I can take her to the vet on Wednesday morning and be OK.
I hope everyone has a very safe night and stay warm :cat:
