Yesterday's condo

Well here we go again! After a wonderful green surf yesterday and then creeping up slowly until PMPS+6, I was a little shocked that she was in the 300's this morning! I just wish she'd pick a pattern, ANY pattern so I could make the adjustments that would be best for her. I'm going a little crazy with her going from a beautiful surf to a cliff dive!

We're frozen in here so not doing anything today but just putter around the house. I think it may be July before I can get my car out. The snowplows always plow me in and even if it wasn't 30 below zero, there's no way I can get out to shovel after all the back surgeries I've had. We usually have people knocking on the door asking to shovel, but with the temperature being so cold, I'm thinking the chance anyone will be out in it is pretty small.

Hope everyone is safe and warm today, and sending healing vines to those who need them.

Did you think to re-test at AMPS?

In any event, maybe some food will get China on her surf board.

The weather here is the same. There was just an advisory from the State Police asking people to stay off of the highways. The blue skies are completely misleading. I hope you get dug out sooner rather than later.

They keep us on our toes, don't they? Just when you think you're done with pink, there it is, and before you're done panicking, they are blue again! I think sugar cats are part chameleons! They change colors so often.

Hope China surfs for you and that you stay warm and dry. I guess I should quit complaining that we haven't had winter here, huh? Mid to upper 60s all week.... :cool:

Stay safe and warm up there! Ugh! I don't miss it a bit! And lil China? Can you put on your flat cat suit and surf the blues?

I hope China starts surfing for you today. Hopefully someone will offer to shovel for you before you need to get out.

Sorry about the surprises at your house :o . China, pick a pattern already, your bean doesn't like this! :roll: I hope that someone will come around so you can get your car out. I know all about being snowed in, plowed in equals the same and the cold here hasn't helped either :? I was finally plowed out, and my driveway was done, and then...my car wouldn't start this morning :shock: :lol: Even though I had it plugged in, lol. Well, I hope you have a nice day in puttering! :-D

Thanks for the visits today everyone! I'm sure I'm not the only one trapped inside today due to the weather!

Sienne, I retested because it was such a strange number at AMPS and got 311 so took the lower of the 2. I try to always retest if I get a number that doesn't make any sense. I've seen Chicago on the news a lot, so I know you guys are getting slammed too! Record-breaking low temps..Brrrrrrrrr

Tricia..I'm tired of being on my toes! That 300 came out of nowhere! I really have no idea why she'd be pink when she was so flat green all day yesterday. Makes no sense :? Oh well...she is a cat and I guess that's explanation enough :lol:

Tara..Love the picture! Did you see the one I posted in my 12/28 condo? A friend of mine who really enjoys doodling with graphics programs made it for me. And darn it..the flat cat suit was sent out to be dry cleaned :lol:

Carla..I sure hope so, but I think that it's still way too cold for people to be out shoveling. We usually have people knocking on doors asking for work when there's snow on the ground, but haven't seen one out today. I'd be happy to pay to get it done, but someone has to come offer first (and to tell the truth, I wouldn't want the younger people out in this kind of cold. -35 is just too cold!!)

Rachel..I really feel for you guys in Canada that have this super-cold weather all the time. I supposed you kind of get used to it, but it sure isn't anything I'd like to have to live with more than once a century or so (the weathermen keep saying this is a "once in a lifetime" kind of cold) I have some friends in BC, but they say it's not so cold there because they're closer to the coast

I was able to slow China down from her dive this time!! A spoonful of 5% helped keep her from continuing to dive (I guess..who really knows why they do what they do?...LOL)

Guess I'll get back to my puttering (otherwise knows as dishes, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, LB scooping, etc...)

What a difference 12 hours makes! Looks like China means business tonight. Good thing you can't go anywhere!! (hope you can get plowed out tomorrow).
