Nothing new here, she is tired but seems fine. I think it must be the Gaba that makes her sleepy. She lays down in front of the heat vent, then goes a few meters further and lays down on the floor. She is more active around shot time, she jumps and knocks things down (she did that until midnight yesterday evening!), which makes me think that the Gaba is in cause, since I give it to her at that time.
I will call her vet to see if we can get a compound liquid so it would be easier to decrease and not stop abruptly.

I'll bet it is the gabapentin. That stuff knocks Chispa out, much more than it should. The one time I gave her the full prescribed dose, she was the saddest, droopiest meatloaf in the world for the better part of a day. The vet I took her to didn't seem worried, but I was. From then on I've given her 1/4 of whatever they recommend. FWIW.

Hi Cecile, I am sorry the gabapentine makes her tired. But overall I am happy to read, that she is her old self again. Knocking things down is a good thing too. She wants to help you to redecorate. :cat:

Yes :-) Or she knows that will make me come see what she is doing and feed her  My son laughed this morning when he saw the botle of wine on top of the fridge.

:) Sounds a bit like living with a toddler. You have to bring everything out of reach. Very understandable, that she does everything possible to get the full attention - and food. :cat:. Might be she still recovers from the stress of the clinic visit. I'm sure she gets showered with love from you and your family. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Sad and droopy describes Bella very well. I am getting the liquid form tomorrow, I will give her 1/2 pill tonight if I can cut it and then go lower.
Thank you!
