Hi, all! We are back from vacation and unfortunately, I've been swamped at work so haven't been able to post or catch up on everyone's condos!
The highlights:
Willie did great with the sitter. He said he had never seen such a sweet, loving cat. His numbers, unfortunately, never dropped from the return car trip... he spent most of the weekend in the 400s (note: we are still using the Alphatrak!). I had the sitter up the dose to 1.5 Sunday night, and that's where we've been. We got down into the 200s yesterday, though there was a spike last night... after a PMPS of 241 and a +3 of 238, the +6 367 was a bit of a surprise.
The skin condition continues. We have elimated most poultry from his diet, but still haven't worked out the supplement issues... planning on tackling that this weekend. This weekend we'll also be getting a rug doctor and steam cleaning the carpets, getting rid of the spare bed where Miss Belle spent a lot of time, etc., all of which will hopefully reduce some of his stress (also going to pick up a feliway or similar product). He has definitely been perkier since my return, and with the drop in numbers yesterday, I noticed a welcome change in his urine output.
All in all, we're doing okay. Not perfect, but definitely could be worse! Hoping we end up with the same reaction as last time to the increase to 1.5 and we start working our way downward again soon!
