WCR: Most Ps in place. Little girl had me worried last night. Besides the lovely greens that were brought on by not eating...o_O, she curled up under the covers (she does this often, but not for very long) and laid in a different position and then wasn't moving. I got freaked out and decided to get up and poke her...144. Oh, and when she was getting back onto the bed via her footstool...she didn't make it. Not sure what happened (lights were off), but I think she fell between the footstool and bed. This is the 2nd time she's done this...the first time was a few months ago. :( Currently, she is draped across my lap between me and the laptop. I could stay here all day! Stoopid work. :mad:

Oh, and I forgot to tell everyone about my little senior girl alerting me to "something" by her water bowl yesterday morning. She kept picking at the food mat under her water bowl, so I decided to check it out...thinking it was an ant or something like that...hoping it was just an ant...and not a roach. At first, I didn't see it because it was trying to blend in with the rubber no-slip mat, but I finally saw what had caught her attention...it was a lizard. I despise critters inside my house...especially lizards...and spiders...and roaches...and ants...and flying insects. :mad::mad::mad::mad: Needless to say, Mr. Lizard didn't live much longer. I wish I could be nicer and catch it and release it outside, but I'm not good at catching them...I typically end up maiming them and they end up dying anyways. :( Oh well. Note to all other critters, DON'T COME INTO MY HOUSE!

Today is a work day for teachers...no students. Also, I have a doctor's appointment and a chiropractor appointment. I'm having some really bad back problems ever since my original chiropractor shut his doors. This new guy is nice and very competent, but his decompression table sucks and that was the key to my recovery after all my back problems 2 years ago. Super worried and in super pain. :blackeye::( Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Morning Deborah :coffee::coffee::coffee:

It is nice to see Shasta's BG coming down some. Think blue Shasta.

OMG on the lizard. That is crazy. Bet Shasta thought it was the best toy ever. Bummer for her too on missing the bed. that is always hard when they start having those kind of issues. I hope she feels better today.

Many healing vines for you. Back pain is never fun, I hope your appt goes well today. Take care!

Lots of vines for both you and Shasta. Polly still jumps up to the bathroom vanity and the kitchen counters, but every now and then she doesn't make it. I hate that! And my Boomer recently stopped trying to jump to the counter. He just sits and looks at his food plate and waits for me to pick him up. Sorta breaks my heart.

Feel better you two.

We're all getting older, even the kittehs. Tess misses or slips too, she tends to climb more than jump now.

Lizards I don't mind, except to get them away from Emma. Just drop a plastic container over them and slid a piece of junk mail underneath. they don't get linbs caught if it is something thin. Remember they eat the bad bugs in the garden. Ants on the other hand ………

Thanks, everyone. My back feels better and worse. My new chiropractor was very considerate to my concerns about his decompression table and he made several adjustments to see if we can get it closer to what I got at my old chiro's. It was much, much better, but my back is so jacked up from the month I haven't had the proper decompressions, that it may take a while. Tonight will be the test...laying in bed. :rolleyes:

Shasta was a little slow tonight when I got home. Slow, as in, Alzheimer-type slow...I think I just woke her up from a really, really deep sleep, but nonetheless...I'm a worry-wort! I tried something new tonight with soaking her foot. I got a Pyrex casserole pan, filled it with warm water and let her just stand there with her one foot in the water. The hard part was keeping her still for 10 minutes with the shampoo on her foot. o_O Hopefully, her back won't be as bad tonight and tomorrow?! Also, the cosequin came in and I added some to her 2nd meal tonight...which she's barely touched. :( She's only peed twice today and no poop. However, the past few days, her poop has been S.T.I.N.K.Y.! :eek: But poop is poop!! :woot: Ok, gotta get a few things ready for tomorrow...first day back with students. :arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh: ;)
