I dropped Roo's insulin back to 1.25u after New Year's Eve's discussion. I am not seeing low numbers. I am almost out of test strips so I will have to stop testing for a day or two until my new supply arrives. Any suggestions or recommendations based on where he is right now?

Hi Deb, good to see you back!

It's really impossible to tell right now what is going on with this dose, because there aren't enough tests. You really need to get at least preshot readings before each shot, and try for at least one test in between shots each cycle too, when you're home to do them. As you can see from Roo's spreadsheet, he is capable of going from 500's to 30's and back to 500's in one cycle, so even just having high preshots doesn't tell the whole story. Sorry I can't help more right now, but when you're able to get more consistent testing I'd love to take another look.

please if anything, save test strips for the preshot tests until ur supplies arrive. And I have to agree, spotchecks are very important!
Post daily if u can ok? We'd love to see how Roo is doing on a daily basis.
