I am so glad that all of my projects on the house are done for a while and that Mandarin doesn't have to worry about more strangers with noisy machines. That was a crazy cycle last night! He spiked all the day to 193 by shot-time, only to drop to 39 three hours later (once everything had calmed down). Since that was probably a reaction to the stress and the depot, I didn't give him another reducie... but it sure looks like he's on the hunt for one.

I am really glad though that I got the ducts cleaned. I can already feel a difference, especially upstairs. And the cats are loving it now!

...and it feels particularly nice after spending the last 4 hours outside, playing with the shelter dogs. Today's high is supposed to be 15, but is sure feels colder than that. The little dogs didn't care for it AT ALL, but some of the bigger dogs didn't mind the weather and still wanted to play.

Mandarin totally has his eye on the prize! I guess it just took a while for Mr. Pancreas to wake up and get back to work.

So glad your house is nice and cozy! This makes me wonder if I should have my ducts cleaned... I live in Southern California, but it gets down to the 40s at night and my heating is somewhat useless.

I hope Lenny is feeling better.

I Shane!! Happy New Year! Sorry to highjack Christina.

I am happy to hear all of the noisy work is completed.

Boys, please be good for your momma.

I hope Lenny is feeling better.

Walter maybe NDW? It was freezing today - just finished snowplowing my Mom's, and 2 neighbors sidewalks and driveways
brrrrrrr............

I feel like a new person after a three-hour nap with my purry, cuddly kitties. Mandarin was extra snuggly too - I think he is just so thankful that he has his quiet house back. His numbers have been awesome today. 50s and 60s - no diving, no HC fuds, just a nice steady surf. :D ...even though, based on that big jump between +4 and +6, you might think that Walter actually got some HC food.

Lenny still isn't doing too well, unfortunately. He is obsessing over his paw and got his bandage off again (despite the big cone on his head ). He is also still wobbly, so I am starting him on steroids tonight. :( His immune system has never been the best. His thyroid shut down when he was only 3 years old and then he contracted Lyme disease. I treated him for the Lyme disease since he was symptomatic, but it might be another flare-up. If the steroids don't make a difference soon, we will run another titer and might have to put him back on Doxy. ...and he really isn't happy about any of this. He LOVES this weather and wants to be outside and walking.
