Morning ~O) ~O) all is well with Maggie this morning. We have Vetty visit soon, early appt. at 8:30 am. Shhhhh...so far Maggie doesn't suspect anything. All P's in place, good shot, three mini breffifs, now on her second nap. We had three brushings, and I cleaned her bottom which did not go over well with her and irritation with me. She then proceeded to do #2 right after I gave her bottom a bath. I guess she told me! This is a check-up for dental, Labs and check her values for CRD. If it's a toothie, this may account for some higher than usual numbers!

I hope all goes well with the surprise vetty visit. I've heard of putting your best foot forward, and putting a good face on things, but never thought of a butt check before the vetty visit. :lol:

Hi guys .. I hope the vetty visit goes well for you this morning .. Nice blue at +3 maggie .. Our girls would NEVER allow us to clean up their bottoms :o but our boy Cheddar (GA) with his long hair needed it quite often .. in fact, we started taking him to the "beauty parlor" :lol: Have a great day guys!

Hi, we're back from Vetty and good news, no dental is needed for Maggie. The tartar was light and the tooth I thought might be bad was called an extrusion of the canines, and no dental is needed. The oral exam went well, eyes, heart, lungs, stomach, all good. They did her blood pressure and it was 168, which was okay. She had a senior bloodwork, urinalysis, etc., and I'll get those results tomorrow. they said she behaved so well and even got a pedicure. We talked a little about her renal disease and will see where she's at once the labs are in tomorrow.
Thanks Linda and Devon for stopping by earlier. Linda, :lol: I know on the butt check. I wasn't sure if he was going to take her temp there in that area!

Maggie, we're proud of you for having such a good visit to the vettybean. I guess the vet techs were pleased that you were so well behaved.
It all sounds good, Ann, and fingers crossed for good lab results.
Enjoy the day, especially now that the trip to the vet is over. Yea on no dental needed!!

So glad you got good news from the vetty bean! I used to have to clean Shnookie's butt, cause he was too fat to reach it himself. Now that he's lost several pounds, he does it himself. I must say, that's one of the best parts! :lol:

So great to get a good vetty report and not need the dental. Looks like Maggie is no worse the wear for the visit, what a good girl! :smile:

Hi Ella, thanks and yes, it is such a relief that no dental is needed. I hope so, too, for good results on the labs.

I used to have to clean Shnookie's butt, cause he was too fat to reach it himself. Now that he's lost several pounds, he does it himself. I must say, that's one of the best parts!

Anne & Muffin, :lol: I wonder if that's why I need to clean Maggie's butt; she gained half a pound since last Vetty visit three months ago! :lol:

Hi Anne & Zener, relief on the good Vetty visit. Yes, no worse the wear for the visit. The Staff really loves her as she acts like she's a zombie there and easy for them to take blood, urine, etc. I wish I knew what she was taking to calm down! :lol:
 
Great news at the vet, dentals are no fun for bean or cat. Paws crossed for the test results. And such nice number for Miss Maggie with all that going on.
