Joni and Leo are doing all the heavy liftingYou and Christie have done a beautiful job with the carbs and controlling the highs and lows. Good job.
; sometimes it takes a bit of experimenting and a fresh pair of eyes It may be the most fascinating thing about this disease to me (controlling the ups and downs with carb % that works best for the cat). The proof is in the pudding too.
Good job, Joni and Leo.

Soooo…..what’s the scoop?! Are we in greens yet?![]()
Oh hehe sorry, I got a little over excited, for some reason I thought we were past +6 lolNo kidding! It's only been 45 min since last test, but if I need to test later, before PMPS, I will.

Good planPMPS=124
Definitely testing at +1!!
Good plan![]()
Keep a close eye on him, he’s definitely pulling some shenanigans. Get on that surf board, Leo!
I’m inclined to say yes, since looking from PMPS to +2 you’ve got some good action.
I like it+3=47
Gave a li'l 15%&20%, so 17.5%.
Will test again in a few min.
I like it. Don’t test too quickly since it takes approx. 20-30 minutes for the carbs to hit the blood stream.
ETA: in other words you won’t be able to see the effects of your carb intervention until around that time.
Yes, that’s the general guideline for handling lower numbers. But it also depends on how carb sensitive your cat is, and I wouldn’t want you to test sooner than 15-20 minutes in any case.
I liked your combo, looks like it got him over 50 nicely, I’d go with that again and see if that gets him surfing. How he’s feeling? Maybe enjoying his time in the lagoon?![]()
Leo is working it tonight...I've been watching Joni and Christie working together this last week or so and I just have to say it is amazing teamwork.
Nice work you two, really a great example of the magic of FDMB!
I would feel better if I could let him have some more HC or whatever is needed. Or do I need to stay up longer or set an alarm?

@La-La Leo - can you post more photos of Leo tomorrow when you get a chance.... he might be the most handsome cat on here. Just saying!![]()
I have some of our kitties on a Pics sheet of an old SS. Leo's kitty friend, Andy, looks a little like your Kona. ♡♡♡ The gray kitty, Isaiah, is Andy's brother from the same litter. When my step-sister had to give up Isaiah, we took him in and he was with us for over four years. Our daughter got married late 2022, and Isaiah went to her home, 1/14/23. Leo & Isaiah played together real well.
