Hoping to be able to check in more often here soon. I moved out this Sunday w/Kazi and one of our dogs - into a house with roomates and their 2 large dogs/cat. Its been a big adjustment for all of us... Kazi is scared of them and only leaving my room once they have taken them to bed for the night. Her appetite overall has sucked - I think she has just been too nervous to eat well. Her meals last night/this morning had to be offered up once at amps and then again 2 hrs later to get her to eat enough. Overall I am getting enough food in her through the day...just having to work a little too hard to do it. Tonight she ate well for me so fingers crossed TIGHT she continues.
All things considered her numbers haven't been good - I was expecting a big spike for a couple of weeks while we settle in and she hasn't really done that. Yes, she is a bit higher...but only by 15-20pts or so. She has been super affectionate - sleeping in my arms at night which is NOT the norm for her. We are all stressed out and a bit anxious...I am looking forward to a few weeks from now when we are feeling more at home and comfortable.
