Good morning everyone, Happy Friday.
Amps 400
Last night was very active. We ear pricked a few times to get specific bg data on Contour meter. A very active pm cycle, which followed a yellow am cycle.
We begin today with a bid old bounce to Red. I guess she earned that last night.
Still itching. Had to change her tee shirt from biting holes in it, her tooth can get caught in the holes. (Yet another challenge. She hates tee shirt changes, too) sigh. :blackeye:Tee shirts only last a few days. Disposable clothing for my cat. Who knew. (I shop the clearance rack in the baby department at my local Kohl’s. And the woman at checkout asks me how old the baby is. I just laugh. I say 1 year since I buy a 12 month size. If she only knew). :joyful:
I feel like I’m in a wrestling match with a greased piggy. She’s wiggly.

Let’s see what’s in store today.
Happy Friday and safe surfing all :cat:

Good furrriday Staci :)
Baby Ivy is the cutest. I can imagine if she doesn't like to be handled much that she won't like being changed. Just like a baby :joyful:
I hope she relaxes quickly from this bounce.
Ivy, stop being naughty and give you mummy some time to rest:bighug:
Wishing you a wonderful day and hopefully you'll be able to catnap here and there :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly, my baby is a cutie. Just a handful of energy and angst! She’s already breaking her bounce near +2. Diving down now. At least she doesn’t stay too high for too long.
Drinking water since she’s high. Interesting how I can see the direct result of high bg and water consumption.
No rest for me today. Grocery shopping on my calendar and weekly errands.
Hope you are all having a calm and peaceful day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good morning Staci!
Ivy totally earned her bounce - it really was a great cycle last night!
And she's coming down quickly, looks like! Go Ivy! Show us what you can do! :bighug:

:joyful::joyful::joyful: I mean, sorry you have to keep buying baby clothes, but I had to laugh at this. Yes, only if she knew....

Hope Ivy slides down nicely and happy Friday to you and Ivy :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Kit. Ivy does recover very quickly from a Mars bounce so I can’t get too upset with her trampoline antics now. She sheds the highs very fast.

It is funny, isn’t it about the clothes? I buy like 10 or so tops at a time. We go through about 2 per week. Girl likes a new wardrobe every few days. (Like her mama, lol).
They must think I’m obsessed over my “baby”. :joyful::joyful:

I'm glad she's breaking her bounce so quickly!

Speaking of babies - I have to tell you that yesterday as I was reading through Lori's thread about Max, you started talking about the name Max and how that was what you named your baby after he was born for your mom (super sweet!), but my brain immediately went, but Staci's baby is Ivy. What? Gave birth to? Huh? Oh, wait, she's talking about a furless child, not Ivy.:joyful:

Awwww, you’re so sweet. Max was my third baby….I had 2 kitties that came before him. Then we added my second son, Andrew. And finally Ivy…..my latest baby. Ivy and Max tie for most difficult and temperamental (shhh, don’t tell Max). Andrew and Mau (my first kidney cat) were the easiest. And Coco was my the one who destroyed my house peeing all over. Sigh. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

A quick space trip for Ivy this AM and she's back to earth! Very similar pattern to yesterday as well. I hope she shows similar numbers in the PM cycles.
Looks like she's clearing those bounces really fast meow too which is great.

Also I'd love to see more photos of Ivy sporting her new tee every week hehe. You should do a weekly feature.

Enjoy your furrrrriday

Well she sure broke that bounce in a flash!! Lovely to see her in blues this morning after an active cycle. :bighug:
Yep, she does go sky high then luckily comes right back down. Now we just need to get her to the Smudge & Alli school of “get with the program”:bighug::bighug::bighug:
Hope you slept late and are doing tons of fun things today!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

lol….I will post more pics of her wardrobe….Great idea. She did decide Mars wasn’t for her again today. Waiting for her to steady herself so I can grocery shop so the humans can eat.
I do hope she repeats last night, just steadies earlier….4 hours of sleep for me is roughhhhh
Have a GREAT day, Karolina, Nestle and Peanut:cat::bighug::bighug:

Ugh, good luck with the clothing...I've been there...shopped for kids socks to put on the dog's paws, kids coats for my sister's goats...it makes me giggle. I'm sorry Ivy is still so itchy though. Glad she seems to have cleared her bounce. Hope you all have a peaceful and happy weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Awww. Seems we are always trying to figure out a solution, aren’t we? Costs for goats, wow. And I thought I had it rough. That’s an interesting one, Christine! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

And we have a dip to 77 on the Libre sensor at +6.5. It’s been a long, slow drop from the amps of 400 and bright red. :)

Oops. It was 12 pm my time. Working on under 5 hours sleep. Sorryyyyyy :banghead::banghead:
No worries :), I’ve been off work this week and while my days have been going fast, I didn’t think they were going that fast lol.

ETA: it is really interesting and I’m not sure what to make of how wide a variance you are getting between your Libre and handheld vs. Val and Fred. Just an observation, like I said I don’t know what to make of it.

I wonder if it’s the difference in meters (hers and mine). I have always used this Contour Next and it’s consistently the same kind of spread between the meter and my Libre 3.

Happy to see some good numbers today
I hope you're not too tired :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Pmps 176
242 +1
69 +2
(All Libre sensor values)
Active cycle so far.
Meanwhile, Ivy is sleeping in her bed for her after dinner nap. :joyful:

Hi Stacy, Poor Ivy, she's still itching , I hope you can get in to see the nutritionist soon. Ivy had a good day today :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:
Hi Diane, yes still itching. Poor girl. My appointment isn’t until 1/22, so that’s a big bummer. So I don’t think the itching will go away until we can get her food reformulated and transition her to a new diet. And then we can’t be sure until we see if she stops itching.
It’s so frustrating watching her itch. I apply cream to 2 areas but she still bites her tee shirt in those general areas.
Thanks for checking in with us. I hope you and Tyler have a nice day. Stay warm. Looks like we are getting nasty weather this weekend. :bighug::cat::bighug:
