Happy Sunday!! Sending healing vines to all who need them especially Jupe and Lucy. One more day for Errol on hid OTJ trial!

We had our dinner party last night and the two foldies in residence were the life of the party. We have a long, built-in buffet in our dining room and with that many people, we just put the food there and let everyone serve themselves. Welllllll......Tobey and Gracie thought it was also the opportunity for them to serve their little kitty selves. There are chairs at an angle near the buffet and the kitties rarely get up there but last night.....they felt the spread was for them and decided to use the chairs as the vehicle to get to the good stuff. Tobey went first but he went up on the salad side instead of the meat side and the look on his face was priceless when he saw it was just salad :lol: :lol: :lol: Luckily, Mike was very quick to get up and place the dynamic duo on the floor and move the chair. Also, luckily, all our friends are major animal lovers (one even has Gracie's sister) and so everyone laughed and thought it was all quite charming and entertaining. After the guests left and we were cleaning up, LBG and her sidekick decided to help Dad take the table pads off the table after he'd moved most of the chairs .....but then they were sooooooo exhausted from all their entertaining duties (including being held) that everything came to a screeching halt:


Being adorable for all those people FOR HOURS was just tiresome!!!

I'm still trying to wear my patience pants after causing Gracie a double whammy low number/fast drop. I really want to let her clear and see where her BG ends up but boy is it not fun!! Keeping an eye on her ketones. Yesterday she was a little quiet earlier but then was a full-up party girl last night. She and Tobey were playing like their usual wild selves this morning. She's eating well and is 100% on the 5Ps.

I have a few chores to do and then will be back to visit while Mike watches fooooooottttball. Missed you all yesterday.
 
Wow, they are sociable little kitties. As soon as Lovey sees me setting the table, she gets ready to hide under the bed.

How cute after a long day of entertaining!

Amazing the differences in personalities, Tess would never be caught dead at a bean party! :roll:

OK pricipessa. Time to clear the bounce and head back to the Lagoon!
 
Being a host and hostess is SUCH hard work, thank goodness the kitters had the beans to assist.

Being the belle of the ball can certainly wear one out. Looks like someone doesn't appreciate the photo during nap time! Hope Gracie slides down for you and lets you recover from the party, too!

Gorgeous kitties - no wonder they are so popular with your friends. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :smile:
 
Awww, well the buffet was for them, wasn't it? :lol: They are so adorable, I always just want to squeeze them and give them smooches :oops: :-D Hopefully it was a nice party with much good visiting time. I'm glad that Gracie has all her Ps in place. Now, LBG, slide down for your beans ;-)

They are just so adorable, Marje :-D And too funny how Miss Gracie is out like a light on the table top :lol: I miss having a social kitty. Cleo's partner in her life on the street, was very social. Always came out to see who was here, and if they liked kitties, and hung out the whole time. She is nothing like him :?
Hope LBG breaks this bounce and comes down to better numbers :-D
 
Poor Gracie and Poor Tobey! Tobey never even got to smell the cimmamum desserts! :lol: What is this salad stuff, anyway?

Hi Marje & Mike, We are glad that your dinner party was such a success. Kitty hosts are the best. Love the pic!! Hope you had a nice, wind-down day today and that Mike's team won.

So glad you enjoyed your night off. Oh, what wonderful entertainment. I wish our kitties were as sociable as yours. I hope Gracie clears that bounce soon. I know how hard it is to see your baby in high numbers. Still many hours left this PM so we could see things turn around. Paws and fingers crossed that that will be the case.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a pic of Tobes with his eyes closed... He always looks so fascinated with the world around him. :-D

Yes, Carl....you are right...he is always fascinated with the world around him and he constantly cracks me up with those Puss n Boots eyes. Of all the cats we do had, the two with the most expressive faces are these two. It's hard to outdo LBG with her whole repertoire and Tobey.....his expressions are always happy, happier, goofy, adventurous, silly.

:lol: :lol: :lol: Josie....Superkitty has been busted! The funny thing is he has slept like that since he was a tiny guy :-D
