Yeah they do! I'm sure I'm getting excited prematurely, but I'll take two Prescott and 12 hours in the yellow!! dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat

Cobb seems to have found a new hiding place. I couldn't find him when I went searching this morning! That's one downside of him feeling better... he's not lounging around in his regular spots!

Here's to a dip into the blues, and if not that, at least some more surfing in the yellow!!!

Yay for yellow! Now to slide on down to blue? Come on Cobb, you know you want to :-D Sorry about the hiding place...sometimes I can't find Chyna and I think I've checked everywhere...and she's squished in somewhere weird. Cats! :roll: :lol: Have a nice Sunday :-D

Cobb says he's up for curling practice. But being that he's never seen this ice and snow he hears you all talking about, he is asking for a warmer coat. Not fur...he thinks that might clash with his own orange coat. :lol: :cool: :lol:

fantastic night for him - but between baby bean and the sugar cat, did any adults sleep at your place? :-D

and he's still holding this morning! Go Cobb go! the longer he holds in this range, the more his body will think it's ok and the less likely the freak-out bounce will be. well, he'll probably still bounce, but it's huge progress!

Beautiful sunny surf Cobb!! See? It's not so bad down in the yellows, now let's see if you can try on a little blue for a change!

It's really wonderful to see his numbers finally moving Suzanne. I'm sure you're thrilled too!

Hope Matty is feeling better today too...those little ones always look so miserable when they're sick, but they bounce back quickly too

**note to Cobb's liver...just because I used the word "bounce" doesn't mean you have to do it :lol:

Somehow we all got sleep. It was a nice night!

We're definitely happy with the numbers. Expecting a bounce but hoping it won't be too bad.

He's due for a dosecrease tomorrow morning. If he holds the surf, how much to increase by? If he bounces, increase or hold?

we can still try R with Cobb to bring him down a little farther. Just say the word when you're ready to try it.

You might want to watch the Ole' show today - i think we're going to try it with him.

if you're not napping, of course! napping takes priority! :lol:

I'm keeping my eye on Ole today.

I want to make sure Matt is home to help with the baby whenever we try the R so I can have an extra set of hands.

we never say never, but the first dose of R is unlikely to be very impressive. it does provide somewhat of a test to see how responsive he is to it. my experience with punkin was very much a non-event. :lol:

but if Cobb has iaa, he might react more, so we can't be sure. having help around is never a bad idea. You might just give us a couple of hours of notice to make sure someone's available.

I have a question, but I'm scared to ask. Don't want "you know what" to hear and then freak out! (Anti-jinx)

The longer he surfs in this Yellow Sea of numbers, how likely of the b word? :lol: If he hasn't b-worded by tonight's shot, would you expect one to not happen?

Hello Suzanne. It must be sunny where you live, cause all I see is a lot of beautiful yellow sunshine today! :-D :-D Of course Cobb, sunshine usually means a bit of blue skies too please.

Those B things are rather hard to predict. Back when Neko was still getting used to nicer numbers, she would often do two cycles of blue before Ms. L would freak out. And sometimes she'd wait 2-3 cycles after a low event before Ms. L would wake up. I've also seen some higher dose cats with a sea of pink and red suddenly decide they are tired of those colours and barely go back for a revisit. So, as much as we love the surfing, it's really hard to second guess what will happen. But as Julie says, the longer he can hold this, the more it will feel like the new normal for him. :-D

I'll add my voice to that and add, avoiding wild swings works wonders for keeping Mr. L calm and avoiding the express elevator to the rooftop terrace.
This is important to know if you are thinking about using R in the future.

That said, the 2nd floor is a very respectable place for Cobb to be hanging out right now. :cool:

Ok. So a small inch over 300 for tonight preshot number. Given his 24 hour streak in the yellows, I can't blame a bit of an increase.

So, the question now...Cobb is due for a dosecrease tomorrow morning. How much? .25unit? .5unit? 1 unit?

My gut doesn't really count, but that's what I thought too...since you're starting to see some decent movement, the .5 increase looks good here too :-D

Remember, with the 20% meter variance, that one pink number was a yellow one too (don't want to break Cobb's beautiful yellow surf! :lol: )

i'm on board with a 0.5u increase as well. we finally have a new range of numbers, but the goal is lower so while we've got momentum that's what i'd do.

what a wonderful day for him today. is he still feeling good? sometimes when they get into ranges lower than they're used to, it's like someone took away the caffeine and they go blah.
