1/5 AMPS 317, .75u, +3 400 - Minnie Bella's increasing after dose

I don't get it when I see this.

She ate, then did her shot. She ate more FF chix pate which is super low in carbs. I don't often see her numbers INCREASE - so what causes this?

A number after the shot that is higher than the shot time can happen for several reasons. Minnie Bella could be bouncing from going lower last night, she could have gotten into higher carb food, or she could have gotten a partial shot - a fur shot. Sniff the injection site to rule out the latter, Lantus has a very strong smell.

I know she didn’t get into any other food. She’s the only cat.

I always check the site and didn’t smell anything.
Probably a bounce. Ugh
