She got a .25u dose crease last nite to 2.5u now. BBK last nite was BBK was .8, this morning it is 1.5, however I also managed to catch a pee and her urine ketones are negative. She is bright and alert and acts like she feels good!

I will be around all day. I really have to start hunting for work but I decided this week would be stay-cation/catch up projects week. I will definitely regret this when the bills come due but oh well. :o

Hi guys .. well this pink is low enough that I see yellow coming right through it .. bet it will show up in the next spot check or two! Love hearing that she is feeling so good .. Hope you guys have a great day!

Bright and alert is a great report on Tink, and an AMPS of 302 is close enough to be called a yellow start. :-D Enjoy your staycation day.

Well this is good she broke thru to yellow but I let her out to go potty earlier (she goes to the door just like a dog) and I forgot to lock the come in kitty door that leads to the kibble room where the ones on kibble eat (I know, I know, but there are 13 who don't get wet due to economics) & I found her in there about an hour ago. So we shall see if she actually got into any contraband or not if her #s skyrocket.

OK, I know, I get the bad bean of the day award. :oops:

Time will tell. Maybe she doesn't even like that hard stuff anymore. Well, we can dream.

A weird thing is that I tested Tawny at the same time @ +9 and she had exactly the same number: 354! Hers I cannot explain, Tink got into the contraband (she went outside and came back in the come-in kitty door that her Mommie The-Bad-Bean-of-the-Day forgot to lock). But Tawny, she hasn't been outside, she rarely goes out at all and since her illnesses is on "house arrest"! And she can't get to the kibble from inside.

I even retested Tawny with a different meter and got a similar enough result to be confident that it's not the meter.

Remarkable that they both tested exactly the same at the same time. So Tink is high probably b/c the contraband; Tawny must be throwing a sympathy #!
 
Well, the Queen of Contraband is paying the price for that little fiasco now. She is under house arrest!

At least Tawny went the other direction (298) and didn't copy her again.

Tink's BBK is down from 1.5 this a.m. to 1.2 tonight.
