1/4 Tawny pmps 298 / Maybe time for Dose Crease?

Her BBK this a.m. is down from 1.5 last night to .5 this morning! She is bright, alert and happy. She slept all night on the bed w/me and 8 of her feline brothers and sisters! They really pile on when it's cold outside, and it's very cold here, we had one of our rare hard freezes overnight!

I will be around all day and plan to get some spot cks on Tink & Tawny both, especially since Tink got a .25u dose crease last night.

I have no idea what is up w/this +9 of 354. Tawny has not gotten into any contraband. Maybe it's a bounce off the 189 at +4.

But what is really weird is that I tested Tinkerbell at the same time @ +9 and she had exactly the same number: 354! Hers I can explain, she got into the contraband (she went outside and came back in the come-in kitty door that her Mommie The-Bad-Bean-of-the-Day forgot to lock). But Tawny, she hasn't been outside, she rarely goes out at all and since her illnesses is on "house arrest"! And she can't get to the kibble from inside.

Tawny did have a snack after her +6, but it was LC wet, she wanted to eat and we are still on the I-let-her-eat-when-she-wants train. But it shouldn't have caused a 354.

I even retested Tawny with a different meter and got a similar enough result to be confident that it's not the meter.

Remarkable that they both tested exactly the same at the same time.

great! from now on you only need to test one of them!

That sounds like a really great plan! (Just kidding.)

Yup, I think I'll write this one off to a bounce.

Anybody wanna take a look at her SS and see if a .25u dose crease might be in order? Once the bounce clears. She usually clears really fast.
