Simon actually dipped into the greens last night with a PMPS of 62. He ended the night with a beautiful 91. This morning, not so green. I am a little nervous since yesterday he was pink in the AM and then was so low at PMPS. I wasn't able to come home for lunch so who knows how low he was during the day. I won't be able to get home today either.

Good news: I spoke with Cleo's vet and the pathology report is mostly back. Testing of the spleen indicated that it was a benign issue that caused the spleen to enlarge so much! They are doing a few more tests, but it looks like good news. Yay! :-D She is going today to get her stitches removed. She still has the sniffles and I'll have the vet check her out.

Happy Friday!!

Re: 1/4 Simon AMPS 303

Morning Georgia, I'm sure someone who knows, will stop by and give you input on your concerns. I hope that pink (hardly pink!!!) is just a bounce from last nights greens and Simon clears it soon and gets back to those beautiful greens.
I'm glad to hear a good report on Cleo!!! I hope she gets rid of those sniffles! No bugs by our babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
have a great day with safe surfing and YEAH ... no stitches!

Georgia, awesome news on Cleo, so happy for you. I hope Simon gives a nice safe surf today. That is worrisome with no knowing how low he goes during the day. I hope others weigh in on your concerns. I wonder if leaving some mc food in the feeder would help, but then I know you don't want to cause a spike if he starts out high.

Re: 1/4 Simon AMPS 303

Hi guys .. I'm sure simon will be ok while you are at work .. he knows to be good :-D And how wonderful is that report from cleo's vet?? I hope her stitches come out easy and the sniffles are nothing to worry about ... have a great weekend!

Re: 1/4 Simon PMPS 201

Looks like Simon did ok today and didn't go low again. Almost blue so maybe we'll see that tonight.

Cleo was so scared going to the vet. I was running late from work and rushed to get her and put her in her box. On the way downstairs, she peed all over the front of my pants and I had to change real quick. She did well getting the stitches out but when the tech gave her a shot of cerenia for her nausea, she peed again all over my lap and jeans (and right in the crotch area)! I looked like I had an incontinence issue. I had to borrow a towel to put in my car to sit on for the ride home. Needless to say, my car smells like cat pee! But the main thing is that Cleo is good and she survived! She just doesn't want to go back to the vet anytime soon.

Re: 1/4 Simon PMPS 201

Poor Cleo. It's so hard when they get so scared. Our civie Tillie shakes and loses fur when she goes to the vet. She has yet to pee on us though. Is Cleo eating ok now that her stomach has some room? Better tonight, Simon, maybe come on down to the lagoon for a dip? TGIF!

Re: 1/4 Simon PMPS 201

That's great news on Cleo, I was wondering how she was doing. Is she behaving normally now? All Ps in place? How's she doing generally?

Re: 1/4 Simon PMPS 201

Awww...poor Cleo. None of mine have peed - on me or elsewhere, but I SO hate how scared they get about going to the vet. I'm so happy she's doing well, and Simon is looking good tonight, too!

Simon looks like he is going down in 100 point increments tonight. I like the blue 105!

Liz, Cleo is eating much better than before the operation but I would still like her to eat more. It is a struggle to find out what kind of food will get her to eat. We are hoping the shots of Cerenia will kick start her appetite back to normal.

Wendy, she is acting better. She is more social and hanging around us more so I guess that big spleen was really uncomfortable.

Amy, thanks so much always for your support even when you have so much going on with your kids.

Paws crossed for the Cerenia injections to help Cleo's appy. I think I've mentioned it comes in pill form too? Much cheaper and easier than a shot with a HUGE needle.
Liz

Oh gosh what a day you had, Georgia, after last night. Nim glad to see Simon coming back down now while you are there and the reports are good for Cleo. Yay!!

Hope you get the cat pee smell out of the car ;-)
