Good Morning, Everyone,

11 degrees below zero this morning. I'm glad I decided not to do the 12-mile hike! Rusty had a good night and is starting another day in green. We had a good test, shot, breakfast (2 sittings) and a good play with Linda's wand and a ladybug pole toy that a friend gave him for Xmas. Rusty is now camped out next to the radiator.

Lots of New Year's paperwork to do today. If it warms up this afternoon I'd like to try out my new snowshoes.

Sending lots of healing vines this morning to Tifil, Rocket, Zener, Sid, and all kitties and beans who are not feeling well,

Ok... that is way too cold!!! But I do hope that you will get to try those new snowshoes :-D . Rusty sure is looking good this morning. I bet he doesn't want to have a thing to do with that cold.

PS. Mason and I go to Vegas tomorrow for a few days to meet up with my DS for her 50th birthday. I am going to see Patty (&Champ) while we are there so it should be loads of fun. Tarragon is staying home to take care of DH. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Morning Ella and Rusty, 11 degrees below zero brrrr....that is cold and glad you canceled your hike. Maybe another one will be available soon. Nice green there, Rusty! :mrgreen: It's great to see him so playful.

No we are happy you are safe & warm at home, -11 is pretty pretty pretty cold!!!
I have to get a solar drinking thing for the birds--They have little water in these temps..I keep going out there with hot water which freezes very quickly--

Another gorgeous green day for Rusty, i think he has the right idea w/ the radiator! :lol: It seems to be good for his BG! Did you get a chance to try out the snowshoes?

That's nasty cold, Ella. It was a balmy 1F, here this morning. I think it got up to about 16 in the sun today. :-D
Without wind, it was really beautiful with the new snow.

Well, it looks like Rusty had a great AM cycle....let's see what the PM brings!!

Hope you got to try out the new snowshoes. It actually sounds like fun....for exercise, anyway!!!

Hi again,
Rusty is still green (barely). I snowshoed today in the backyard woods, but not on a trail. I like the new snowshoes, but the straps just barely fit over my boots (I have big feet!). (I didn't want to get men's snowshoes, because they are too wide and I trip on my opposite foot when I wear them). The day just got away from me with paperwork and chores. I'm aiming for Friday, because tomorrow I have to take my car in for the annual safety inspection.

Celi: just saw that pic! omg!! the poor polar bear! But it occurs to me that there are no polar bears in the Antarctic!!! (and no penguins in the Arctic). Now, if cats were playing the cymbals . . .
