AMPS 253 We had a nice uneventful day in the blues yesterday. Hoping for more of the same!

Lots of good thoughts and vines, hugs and chin scritches to all in need of them. Today that includes my own Jesse James, who is at the vet for his dental. On second thought, maybe the vines should go to the vet...

+4 119 Hmm...We haven't gotten greens in a couple of days...but only had one totally yellow cycle in the last 7, which is an improvement. Trying to decide what to make of this, and if squeezing his dose up a drop is necessary or if this is better than flopping from great cycle to flat yellow...

I agree with Devon, pretty blues! I hope all goes well with Jesse James' vetty visit. I hope the vet doesn't have to charge you twice for an extraction of the same tooth, once from Jesse and once from his hand. :lol:

Nice drop there, i hope Mikey shows you some green soon. I'm not sure on the dose, the greens aren't consistent, but mikey sure is sensitive to insulin. Have you tried counting the drops out in his dose?

No dosing advice from me either, just wanted to say good luck with the dental and Linda you just gave Vyktor a big fright cause I started laughing so hard when I saw this - Vyktor is in for a dental soon and if they're not reall careful we'll be double charged like this for sure - he does hate the vet!

Still time for greens today Mikey.

+11 246 We'll see if we can get a little green tonight. I am encouraged that he's had more cycles in the blue without flats in the last few days. I'd like to get some more of those greens, though. If we don't see green tonight, I may squeeze him up another drop in the morning when I can monitor him carefully. I do count drops. .1 is two very small drops, and I fattened it to two slightly less miniscule drops, but there is no daylight between the plunger and the 0U line at eye level. I may squeeze it up to a hairbreadth and see if it helps get the numbers a touch lower. He's a challenge because his curves are SO steep!

Jesse James came through fine with all his teeth, and the vet survived. :lol: He has a UTI, so has some Clav for that, but is doing well on his diet, though we'd like him to lose another pound or two (He's lost 3 1/2 since last fall-yay!). The best part is that he has no crystals and his urine pH was perfect. That's the major thing I keep an eye on with him as we do NOT want a repeat of the full blockage from last year!

PMPS was 213. That's down from +11, but I'm confident it should rise (he's just a little later than usual, usually takes a quick dip between +10 and PS) after dinner, so I shot anyway, but definitely didn't increase on a falling number. Maybe we'll see a little green tonight.

+4 222 I swear he read what I said about fewer flats and decided to be contrary... I'll see what we get tomorrow and go from there on a slight increase. Darn cat.
