Blues and yellows yesterday - with a nice PMPS. I had so hope he would carry that forward into the PM cycle, but alas - that was not to be. Maybe today - paws crossed. We have blues for a start today, and we sure are hoping for some more. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D Nanners continue to be his focus - several nap sessions yesterday. He is back to using them as a pillow, with the rest all lined up in a row as a mattress. :lol: :lol: Funny thing is that he has added a couple of catnip mice to the mix. They are off to the side... just kind of sitting there, purpose unknown. I keep hoping he will try the circle formation again - very curious on how he will incorporate the new nanners into that one. :lol: :lol: :lol: Still no kitty choir, still no whacks: they truly must have been BJ's doing.... I suspect the kitty choir will not return, but I may consider sending Elsa and Mannie to whack-a-thon school. The whacks were kinda fun, and they never did hurt one another. We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from the Nanner King. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa continues to raid his auto feeder, and I am still running interception, again and again and again ... :roll: What else is new there. though I did miss one today, and had to re-serve.... :roll: :shock: :roll: :roll: Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today - through Friday. Paws crossed her that we will have good weather, and that I will be able to take him out for a short kid hike, something near a river. :-D :-D I know I won't be able to visit condos until late in the evening - sorry to miss you all, but do know that I am thinking of you all, and your furkids. think BLUE, think GREEN kitties - WOOT!

Hey everybody! Guess what!! The next full moon is coming!!! 1/8 late at night...... let's start planning - it is the wolf moon! SO SO COOL! This will be so fun... What do you guys wanna do today? I was thinking, well maybe, if there is sun at Tess's we could go and slide in the dunes... and grill lizards and stuff. Awesome! ~~ Mannie

Still blue, but move on down Mannie. Maybe BJ was the ringleader after all, she just let the others think they were. I do hope the whacks come back. Those are always fun. Tarragon and Turnup were whacking last night, which is a rare occassion. We had a blast watching them though.

I just love Mannie Nanner Stories. It sounds like BJ was in charge of things there. I tell ya, if my kitties start whacking eachother, it gets out of hand so quickly...within seconds hisses and full-on brawls.

Hi Michelle, nice AMPS for the start of the day and hope Mannie gives you and DGS permission today for a kid hike at the river. I bet Mannie will give a pass so he can have his beauty rest with his nanners, along with the new nanners. :-D That's too bad about no kitty choir. I wonder if it will pick up later! I loved hearing about their whack-a-thons! Have a great day with DGS and looking forward to some pics.

Mannie, I think there should be sun at Tess's for the dunes sliding and grilling lizards. I'm in, so see ya soon, Maggie

Good morning, Michelle. Great start for Mannie today - how 'bout a no-drama slide to green? We love the pictures of your hikes with Nicholas, mostly because he is so cute and partly because we vicariously enjoy all of your water (not much around here). Thank you for the encouraging words on Zener's condo. Wow, you and Mannie have sure been through a lot.

Interesting about BJ being the dominant kitty: she knew her duties and obviously relished them: the wake-up call; the supervision of Mannie's test and shot; the daily whack. Now Mannie and Elsa will have to work on picking up the traditions!

Leo and his bro Toban will lay together all snuggled up and will usually end up in a whack a thon. It's pretty funny to watch! :lol: :lol:

Nice flat blue surf for Mannie today. Looks so calm and relaxing. Green may be prettier, but I bet there's no "b" to this. I hope you got your hike in today.

I hope Mannie continued with his nice numbers today and that you had a great day with the DGS!!! I'm hoping Mannie and Elsa get tired of the quiet and take up where BJ left off. Of course, there's no replacing the leader of the choir and the master whacker, but they could certainly give it a go!!

Thanks everyone for visiting Mannie while I cared for DGS. We did make it to a river today. The weather here has been awful: lots of rains and winds, This one spot however predicted a break for a couple of hours - so off we went. OMG! :shock: :o :o We could have gone swimming and been drier. I think that weather dude needs to go back to weather school. :roll: What a wet wet hike/walk along the river. Nicholas never seems to mind, I carried the umbrella, and he was dry enough. We did find one spot where he could get close to the river - happy he was. We had a great car camp after that - lunch etc, followed the the usual session where he pretends to be driving the car. It was truly a great day. :-D :razz:

Thanks Ann, Patty, Roni, Barb, Randa, Linda, Devon, Tracy, Ella, Anne, Iorwen, Ann, Amy, and Melissa for checking in with Mannie - it is ever so appreciated! Forgive my shortened version of an update on Mannie's condo. Mannie had a wonderful morning today - a very nice even steady blue cycle. I am thrilled with it - it may not be green, but it was so consistent! This is the Mannie I remember from a while back. I hope that the PM 2 is mostly food - but dunno: awfully big spike for just food...
And Roni - so so right you are new traditions, new way of doing things - they will set up what works for them, and that will be just fine - I look froward to seeing what it will be. :-D
Melissa, Amy, Ella - I have no doubt now that BJ initiated the mornings around here - the more I think about it, the more I know it is true - all her calling, and what fun it was.
Ann - me too on the kitty choir!
Anne - you are more than welcome - been there.... I know how it is -and you guys do such a wodnerful job with Zener. Too fun on your vicarious part. love it!
