Morning a high blue today for Mags, and some of it may be part bounce and also free feeding overnight. Mannie kitteh Barista, I have my door open, thanks, Auntie Ann ~O) ~O) I 'm having connection problems this am so if my typing is jagged or something is off the wall, it's the Carrier's fault not the user. :lol: It's nice you guys don't point out my errors and seem to understand what I'm saying most of the time. :-D Some of it is hilarious.

I had a call from my Vet late yesterday afternoon and some slightly better news on Maggie's chronicic renal disease b/w results. Her creatinine improved slightly from a month ago. I was holding my breath on these results, as lately her renal disease has progressed since the diagnosis of megacolon. Not saying the Megacolon has something to do with it, just a landmark there with overlapping medical issues. Mags is now on daily fluids vs. every other day which is helping, also lower phosphorus fuds. The Terumo 20 gauge needles are somewhat of challenge with the fluids, in that it takes so long and Mags starts to wonder off when we're not quite finished. Yesterday I did it while she was napping, can you believe. Have a nice Thursday.

Oh my! :mrgreen: Quite a drop. I guess that AMPS was the emptying of overnight food or a quick bounce clearing. :?

Detective Poo, some good news. Mags just had a poo, but it was sort of a poo accident. I must have given too much Miralax yesterday. I kept smelling something, but there was nothing in the LB. Then I noticed a small deposit on the sofa. She's never done that before, so I think it just came so quickly, like you gotta go and bad. I'll decrease the Miralax today.

What a nice morning for Maggie - love that +3 WOO HOO, Go Mags, and surf well. WOW on yesterday too - but a nice morning surf. :-D

YAY! on the BW and the CRD things - it is so good to read that there is improvement. That is great! :-D :-D :cool: Seems like the fluids are really helping,. I love it that you were able to give them while she was sleeping. That is cool. Good girl Maggie.

Moonie has had a few poo accidents, but it's ok, at least it came out!! All these types of laxatives sometimes the cats cant help it...Hope today is a great day for you both--

Detective Poo checking in. That is strange about missing the litter box. I hope it was just because of a slight miralax OD. Great news about the labs! :-D :-D And already at the lagoon. :mrgreen:

Hi Mary, yes, these accidents do happen :-D and glad she can poo.

Roni, thanks so much and nice to know it has occurred with Moonie. It's a guessing and trial and error thing with the laxatives.

Thanks Liz on the Labs. I think it was maybe an OD Miralax, as it was quite soft. Yes, at the lagoon, too, waiting for Zener.

Hi guys .. awww yay on the good lab results!! You're obviously taking excellent care of her! And she's come down nicely on that higher blue amps this morning .. nice greens this afternoon for sure! have a great weekend!

Thanks so much Devon. She's an easy and grateful kitty to care for, only she says "don't touch my bottom." :lol: That's a no no, and any time I start a kitty wipe in that area.
It looks like a permission number, so think I will run out and do a few things, maybe meet up with a friend for coffee if I can get my act together here and get ready.

Morning Ann & Maggie nice green surf today! Nice to hear the improvement on the labs woo hoo. I didn't know you had to give fluids every day wow, what a trooper Mags is to sleep through it! Sorry about the deposit on the couch poor thing probably couldn't hold it! Hope you have a happy Fursday!

Looks like Maggie knows she's feeling better....nice BGs in the greens and her kidneys are doing a little better too :mrgreen: That is good news!

Great news on the better labs this time. Things are balancing out nicely. Sorry about the poo, but as you said ti comes out. ;-) :lol:

Thanks Michelle & Scrabble, yes, the poo just seemed to came out unintentionally on Mags's part. I think it was a Miralax OD!

Hey Barb & Checkers, I forgot all about kitties reading their condos. I was out and about and picked up cat litter and had coffee with a friend. I forget to pick up lancets at Target. Found some there that don't beat up her ears.

Thanks Molly and hope she does this surf more often.

Ann & Tess, thanks on Mags. Yes, accidents happen. When I came home, I found more poo, but in the LB this time. :lol: I have to give her bottom a bath, and that's going to be interesting.
