I think she's feeling better this AM. She's on my lap, but not pushing her head against the desk drawer.
I started corn silk yesterday PM. It is recommended on the facebook page for Feline Lower Urinary Tract https://www.facebook.com/groups/FelineLowerUrinaryTract/?ref=group_header for UT inflammation. Hoping this will alleviate some of the in-and-out of the box issues.
We have an appt. with an internist on Tuesday to discuss proteinuria, the box issues, the head pressing and get her BP checked.
She did make a nice poo for me this morning while I was fixing her breakfast! Too bad it was on the floor... but it wasn't on carpet, so I won't complain!

I was reading over on Tanya's forum and thought I would pass this info along. I have not looked into it any further or researched it but thought of you/Maggie when I read it..

I just did a search on Semintra---I mentioned this in my previous reply and misidentified it as an appetite stimulant. It is an oral solution designed for cats and contains a medicine called telmisartan. Semintra helps reduce the amount of protein lost in your cat's urine. Losing too much protein is associated with a shorter life expectancy in cats suffering from chronic kidney disease. If you are interested in this go to www.boehringer-academy.co.uk and www.felinecrf.org/proteinuria.htm (Tanya's Comprehensive Guide to Feline Chronic Kidney Disease-Proteinuria

Hey, thanks! I've looked at Tanya's info on proteinuria, but missed this...
ETA: You said "forum", and I was thinking the main page.
