I'm usually over on the other board but wandered here to read. My last kitty, one of my two heart kitties, was very hard to regulate and I had to use some "customized" dosing for him also. I was shooting TID and using R as a booster when necessary and I gotta say, that while I don't recommend it unless you really know how, it got my guy really regulated....BUT that's not the point really.
I was curious about why you're using such a small amount of Lev with numbers like this? I'm sure you have but I don't like to assume soooo , have you considered raising his dose so maybe you won't need so much R? I love R but only as a 'helper' sometimes so the Lev has a better place to start at PS.
I don't mean to butt in but it seems as if Lucian might benefit from an increase. Just a thought

It's ok, I don't mind you asking. .50 was basically his last good dose, although he dropped too low on it too. Raising his dose seems to make him worse, not better. Been thru it with the vet and will be trying another insulin soon.
