So far we're 0 for 2 on the Weruva. Tried the Paw Licken Chicken & Steak Frites yesterday and not even a lick...from either cat! It actually looks pretty good to me for cat food. Think we'll try a little bit of the Dave's Turkey & Giblets today. Doodles 1/3

I talked to Doodles about that 52 @ +9 yesterday and asked him not to do that so late in the cycle again. Last night we had a little indoor camping party after dinner where I laid on the floor with a blanket in front of the fire and he curled up next to me using my leg as a pillow. Super sweet Doodle moment.

Vines for Tara & Ivana today along with all the other kitties especially those who seem to have tummy/food issues going on. Lets hope it passes soon.
 
Another nice start for Doodles! Sending good appy vines and fingers crossed that you will find something that is to his liking.

The fireplace sounds very cozy. I would love to have one as well, especially on days like this. As much as my dogs like the snow, the kitties would much prefer to snooze in front of a fireplace.
 
I haven't had much luck with any of the Weruva foods either. Names are cool and the food looks appetizing, but my cats walk away. Guess they're not as susceptible to marketing as I am!

In door camping. Love it. Wonder if you can concoct a low carb s'more?

PLEASE have Doodles stop in and give Rosie some Pancreas lessons. She needs a good role model.

I love that fireplace story. It sounds wonderful. Sadly, with my asthma and allergies, we leave our fireplace unused these days.

Hope the day is a good one for you guys!
 
Mediterranian Harvest and mideast feast are the only ones Drevon likes he used to like asian fusion but not anymore-
the ones he likes are more medium carb but he only eats about 1/3 of it and he is such a fuss but--we are having more luck with felines pride by instinct -NV

Bummer on the Weruva. Mannie liked it as a rule, but no always. There was another one, and now I can't remember the name, that he really loved. Wishing you luck with the fuds.

Well, it's a propane fireplace as wood burning ones are banned from our area of the desert!
 
Doodles ate a few small pieces of swanson canned white meat chicken breast for a snack! I didn't want to feed him his FF lunch yet, it's too early for that...either he'll surf above 50 for the next 1.5 hours or he'll be earning a reduction.

I'll have to look up the felines pride. I have NV grain free venison but again he only eats a little bit. We just keep trying and use YAZC to supplement the calories or he'll widdle away to nothing.

I just ordered YAZC--I know wet is better but they have to eat- today was a good day with wet food:joyful:

I have not found exact nutritional stats on felines pride--the ingredients are different on the flavors-
a few have guar gum but it is pretty far down the list….the rest looks pretty good and has not affected his numbers-
Dre likes (of course unless he doesn't like) the lamb-both tuna flavors-both rabbit flavors-he is on strike from the salmon and never liked the chicken.
lately he is pretty happy with the lamb-I have duck on order-
My CKD guy likes the chicken-go figure!
 
There is always something I don't like in the ingredients but my attempt of home cooking last month basically made him sick for 3 days and I only added a tsp to 3 separate meals. Doodles isn't big on Chicken either but Moo loves it. The YAZC is very high in calorie so they don't need a lot...over 600 calories per cup! Doodles went about 5 days without any YA and wet only but he ended up getting bad poops so we're back to a combo of wet/ YA. Because they eat so little it might appear he doesn't like it but honestly it's more because they just don't need a lot and Doodles BW came back basically perfect last month. Good luck and thanks for the Feline Pride suggestion, might as well add it to my collection lol.
 
Sending Appy vines for Doodle. Seems to be a lot of tummy trouble going around lately. Kitty cuddles by the fire are great.:cat:
