I guess I haz a rubber Doc today - doesn't surprise me after that beautiful blue/yellow run yesterday. Was hoping we'd see it again but alas, back to that ugly red AMPS. I'm hoping he's falling off it now - fingers crossed for at least yellow again!

BRRRRR! It was 21 degrees this morning when we got up with terrible strong north wind, windchill at 11. Silly Junior drooler with lots of hair decided he wanted to play 'race' - today of all days. When he does this, he refuses to come to me to go back inside. This morning he ran for at least 5 minutes while everyone else danced needing to come outside to pee...silly little drooler. Johnny ran out, did his business and ran right back inside back to the warm kennel - I ain't runnin' wif dat silly brudder! Didn't take BugBug long - her super short grayhound hair doesn't keep her very protected. Their yard is protected from the wind by the house/garage and privacy fence but it was still COLD!

We were about ready to strangle Penny (new drooler) last night - I guess she was scared of the wind sounds and wanted to out of their room. She whined off and on from 4am until 6am. I got up and put her sweater on which seemed to help - not that she was cold but she seems to be a good canidate for the thundershirt....her sweaters seem to calm her. Wasn't awake enough for couple of hours to realize that might help. She's curled up asleep in DaddyBean's lap - her favorite place in the whole world. Yeah right little girl...YOU sleep while I try to stay awake! GRRRR!

Nothing else newsy today. Got Christmas lights down yesterday before wind started - sure was glad they were down when we heard wind howl all night. They'd likely have BLOWN down.

Dad's having a good day today - he actually suggested dominos to mother! He forgot how to play about half way thru but his Parkinson's brain worked well for a bit! That's such a blessing.

Those blues are not that scary Doc, you don't have to jump so high when you see them!

Hoping the COLD doesn't last too long! Yesterday was completely miserable. Can't imagine the poor droolers having to go outside to do their business.
 
I hope Dakota comes down form the bounce soon. Poor Penny and poor you. I hate it when they get scared like that.
 
I hope you got to take a nap today, maybe Doc thought he would give you a break. Time to start sliding if you want to get to the Full Wolf Moon Party though!
 
Doc, looks like you're heading in the right direction...a little slow, but down you go.

Poor Penny. Will, my lab mix, was a pacer/whiner whenever we had wind/thunder weather. He's been here almost two years. Much, much better. Tried the thundershirt with him. He still whimpered and paced.

My previous dog hated rain so much I'd have to leash him and go with him for his pee-breaks. Me and my dog hanging in the yard under an umbrella waiting for the big guy to whiz. At least the lab loves the rain!

Dakota, I thought you were done with that trampoline! I really think you would be much more comfortable coming down to the yellow floor. I know your mama would like it!

Poor Penny. All she wanted (at 4 am) was her daddy bean's lap! Too bad it wasn't available to calm her!

Glad to hear your DF had a good day. He's in my prayers every night.
