Now I'm officially freaking out @-) I don't know if these numbers are because of the tuna flavored Bupe that I gave him last night or something else. It just seems too obvious that not long after I gave him his bupe that his numbers skyrocketed. I was assured yesterday from the pharmacy that there was no sugar in the compounded bupe, but I can't help but think something about it just isn't right.
Also, now I know some of you use CET toothpaste for your kitties, but I've found sorbitol and dextrose to be in the ingredients and have read that it is not good for kitties or puppies. I haven't used it yet because I don't want to hurt my babies.
On top of that I was reading this site http://www.ibdkitties.net/Toxicunsafe.html and found that you should never ever feed spinach to your babies. Well, I have 2 kitties that are absolutely loving Friskies Indoor Homestyle Turkey Dinner w/ garden greens in gravy. These are the 2 girls that I'm having trouble eating anything but dry, so i was happy when they took to this and now I don't know if i'm hurting them as well. Goodness all i'm trying to do is do the right thing for them and I just don't know anymore. If you think I'm being paranoid, please please, say so. I feel like i'm going in circles ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile
Have a wonderful Friday all  ;-)

Hi guys .. first, breathe .. :-D Now, I don't have any other advice to offer .. but I can relate to feeling like you're just going around in circles totally overwhelmed .. so I know taking a deep breath is the best place to start .. Hopefully others will be along soon to help you get everything figured out .. :YMHUG: Just hang in there .. have a great weekend!

Yikes Tommy! Please come down from there, you are stressing your mamabean. Interesting on the bupe. I'm about to try a bupe experiment with Neko and if I go ahead with getting some compounded will be very careful to ask what is in there.

I did some searching on spinach, as I too have seen it as an ingredient. Looks like it's OK for small amounts, as long as kitty doesn't have a history of urinary issues. http://www.aspca.org/about-us/faq/spinach-0 Which my civie does, so thanks for the heads up. Just checked what I feed my kitties and they seem to avoid spinach by using chard, kale, or lettuce.

As for feeling paranoid, I think that is all of being part of a caring but worried good mamabean. :YMHUG:

Well I guess Chyna is in good company today with Tommy! In red and pink... ohmygod_smile I hope we all slide down tonight! You're not paranoid, just doing your best to care for your fur babies, such a good bean :-D Hopefully you can figure out that smilie, I sure like it  Have a nice rest of your Friday!
