1/31 Sooty AMPS 320s but that's OK...!

GM LL, Here's yesterday's condo

AMPS is a bit high this morning but we're still trying to zero in on the best dose, as there is still lots going on with Sooty, not just getting over the dz but he'll also be off the bupe after today... so don't worry - it's OK! - this # is much better for him than too low (esp. for an Acro). This is also the first time that he has ever really reacted to insulin / dose changes at all - so really it is quite exciting!

Sooty's still doing fine, he is comfortable and still very much in recovery mode, so sleep is good medicine..!
Ketones still negative and 3/5 Ps in place today!! He came upstairs to wake me up this morning and was purring loudly!

Oh, I know what you mean about it being exciting when kitty finally reacts to a dose change! Going through the same thing here and it's riveting. It sounds like Sooty's excited too, the way he was purring for you this AM. Good luck with the dose and taking him off the bupe. Happy Monday!

He's still doing well and still improving slowly, but surely.. we'll be getting some more BW on Thursday, to see how hs WBC is going... in any case, he'll be on the ABx for a while longer yet too. Insulin and BGs are a bit of a crapshoot right now, but we're doin' OK..!!
