ouch, and we are pink this morning... back up from last night's blues? Well, I hope it clears soon, and that Mannie has a great morning cycle. Yesterday was uneventful-mostly a low yellow, low pink cycle(s). Nice in that this bean could go to bed at a semi-decent hour. :cool: :-D Thanks Mannie! cat_pet_icon

I have finally updated Mannie's lab link in my signature line with the results of his urinalysis, and C&S. sheshhhh - slow on the maintenance aspect here - and slap me with the wet noodle...

Mannie put me to bed last night - what a guy! He was waiting at the top of the stairs after the last test, kept coming to get me when I didn't head down stairs right away. He was done for the day, figured that I should be too. Worked for me! :-D We have a happy purry furry kitty this morning: whiskers in the face, licks on the nose when I didn't get up right away :shock: Breffis was met with his hurry up happy dance, and his status in the clean plate club remains intact. I discovered last night that it I put the clavamox on top of his food that he licks it all up. :shock: weird - what kitty likes that stuff. Guess he does. I will continue to give it to him the "normal" way, to make sure he does get it all. Still 2+ weeks to go with this stuff. ohmygod_smile Nanners remain secure this morning. He has them all scrunched together so that when he lays on them they are all covered up. :lol: MINE MINE MINE says the cat. Normalcy in MannieLand.

I am shocked he licked up the antibiotics. Mannie is such a sweet adorable kitty. I didn't post yesterday. I read your condo yesterday but was exhausted. The pictures of Mannie and your GS were precious!!! Thank you for sharing them.

Awww, what a way to get put to bed, and then woke back up again! So cute!!

I hope Mannie clears his bounce and has a nice surf later on today. No matter what, that boy guards his nanners! Mannie's everyday adventures are so amusing. :-D

Hi Michelle,
I tried posting late to you but then lost what I typed and so went to bed. That's amazing that Mannie will take the liquid antibiotic on his food. I had a hard time getting it into my GA kitty. Mannie, please come down from the pink floor. How nice he hinted it was time for bed for you. Hope you guys have a nice day.

Hi Iorwen - he really is - a good kitty. well behaved says it well. comes when called, eats when asked, sits still when needed, cuddly more often than not. SO NICE!

Hi Ella - actually all of those tthings are on for today. we are sunny, cold at 34, so I will take my morning hike to the shore, spend a little time, and then head on over the see DGS. I'm trying to get him to know me, so go about 3 times a week. In theory when he comes to stay here he will be comfortable with me.

Hi Ann and Maggie - no worries. I would have gone to bed too. I "hate" it when I do a post then lose it. I know on the ab's - I couldn't believe it when he licked it all up. Of course it was on top of a small amt of food, but still he ate it all. so weird, but wow, am I ever grateful!

Hi Violet - I know! Love it when he does that. Best alarm there is.

Hi Karrie - weird on the Abs huh, and me too - so surprised when he licked the bowl! and no worries - There are days when it is the same for me too - just can't do all the condos I want to: fatigue wins out.

RUSTY! DUDE - lets' do it! I like the being stranded part... sweet! I had better prep the roadster really good - extra fuds and stuff and fleece and other stuff - just in case.... and uhhhhhh, yeah on the meds.... i really wanted the fuds below ya know, so well.... figured i had to eat that other stuff too.... i dunno.... not too bad man. Hi Roni - I know on the baths of clavamox :lol: :lol: there goes the head shakes and voila! That was the reason I tried some of it on his food - after the clav bath, since I knew some didn't go down the gullet.... Imagine my surprise when he licked it up, ate it with his food. :shock: :shock:

144 @ +4. I fed this with a little 10%: to control the drop, and even things out a little, as I will be in and out for the rest of the morning/early afternoon. Nice to see Blue!

Mannie sure dropped pretty fast and I sure hope he stays where he is for a little bit. I'm sure you don't want any drama today. I think I'll have to try your trick the next time one of my kitties needs Clavomox -- you would think I was killing them when I have to get them to take it. I love picturing Mannie with his nanners!

Wow, Mannie baby is listening to us when we ask him to come down, but not too fast, k! I am going to buy some of those nanners for Maggie. She's always sitting on an article of clothing if I leave it laying on the sofa, etc. She's now laying on one of my canvas bags that I just emptied from some groceries.

Hey Mannie, Maggie wants to come along, too. South would be nice, some place warm and away from all the snow. Get the roadster ready.

Hi Ann - I hope Maggie loves the nanners too. Mannie does the same thing too. When we had the baby here though he would not lay on the baby's things - guess he knew that was off limits. :cool:

Hi Georgia - that he did. He seems to have leveled out some - guess the 10% food just before I left held him there. YAY!: success! it was surprising to see him eat the clavamox that way - I guess you'd have to watch to make sure he did eat everything. I know on their unwillingness to take the meds: none of mine are very willing. Mannie's not too bad, but he sure doesn't like anything forced in his mouth.

Thanks for stopping by my condo and describing symptoms for UTIs, Michelle. I'm thinking Mannie's headed for a breakthrough when you get his UTI under control--he's showing some nice low numbers.

I've been reading through Randi's adventures with Max - what a wonderful story! I love this place. :YMHUG:

Hi Lacie - Nice on the kitty condos - lucky kitties! I hope Leo and the others like the nanners too - Mannie just loves the things - best toy I've ever bought, at least as far as he is concerned. And thanks - I hope so too: paws crossed, as we have been at this a while. I'm just glad that we are seeing lower numbers, and have his "diving" more or less under control. Yes on Max too! I couldn't agree with you more - this is such a great place! :cool: :-D :-D

Hi Barb - I should do that - taste the stuff - It kinds does smell like bananas... go figure! and yep, Ella did. -- I love those nanners, and the fact that he loves them as much as he does. One of my favs was the other night when we were in test mode alot, and after each one he'd go to the pile, grab one with his paw, lay down and hold it close under his chin, paws wrapped around it. Too funny - too cute.

Hi Ele - yes it is, and so welcome. the meds taking is a blessing - so much so, and I am very grateful that he doesn't fight me. He's a big kitty, and I'm not too sure how many of those battles I'd win. :lol: and thanks - day was nice: got a hike in (a short one), and got to spend some time with my DGS - always fun.

Hi Karrie! :lol: :lol: on the nanners - it was the same for me - I kept reading about them, didn't have a clue what they were - I finally asked several people, they all sent me a link to where I could buy them. Much to Mannie's joy! Before Nanners we had the same ole toys as everyone else - except for a canvas bag (4'X4") that was full of catnip - must be really good stuff, cuz he treated those bags similar to the nanners - sold by a place called vermont country store - mail order. we still have some - those are his 2nd fav. -- too funny on adding them to the LL slang... true!
