Morning,

Well, after a lovely day of surfing the blues, my Jonesy Bones has gone way up to visit outerspace with a 454. Not sure if this is just a weird bounce? OR, if it is a new pate Salmon food that I'd given him. (Yup. I did NOT first check the food chart. Will do that today from work as I can't remember the brand)

The Home Showings have been going REALLY well! There are TWO home inspections, plus a visit all scheduled today. So rather than put Jonesy in a large dog kennel covered, in a room where people will be milling around, loud voices etc, I'm biting the bullet and just bringing him to work! heehee

I work in a drapery/upholstery store, and my office is at the back of the store. I'll get him all set up with a litter box, his bed, food water and I'll bring my testing supplies. Normally I don't close my door on the office, so I'm also bring his harness and leash. Who knows, he may very well stay hunkered under my desk all day, or he may sit at my window watching the store, but it is very quiet at the store, and today we've got a skeleton crew in, just two of us.

I'll try to get some photos ;) LOL Thankfully, I have the absolute BEST BOSS IN THE WORLD so he understands. Sunday for the open house I'm actually bring both Jonesy and my girl Fiona back to the store for the two hours. Vinnie will stay home in a room with a door saying to not let him out.

Wish us luck today ;)

Sounds like one of those puppy play pens would come in very handy. I would still be afraid of the one left in a room. Anyone can just open the door and if little kids are along, they can't resist.

One time one of our cats got out of room even though the was a sign do not open door and was stuck behind stove for hours until we got home. Another time someone bought their dogs with them. After that I was always present when it was shown.

Actually, there are TWO left at home during the showings and home inspections, but both are kind of like moths during the day, pretty dopey and lazy ;) LOL They are also in an upstairs room, with a sign on the door, and when somebody opens the door to the room they are 100% guaranteed going to be in the sunroom at the back of the room.

That said, trust me, selling and showing the house, my CATS have been my biggest stress. All three are on some type of medication, so as we all know, stress is NOT good for cats . . . ugh, finding your poor guy behind the fridge. I'd have wanted to hunt that person down . . . .grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

As for Jonesy, we're really quiet at work right now, and there was only myself and the office manager in. He sat at my window looking into the showroom for a bit, then decided the corner of the room, under the desk (and NOT in his comfy bed *face palm*) was where he was going to voice his protest ;) LOL

I'd brought my leash with me, thinking I could "hook him up", just in case I left my office door open, but what I DIDN'T bring was the actual harness *DOUBLE face palm* Ugh!

Jonesy at my work today. He was SO well behaved! And the worst thing "smell wise" was his wet food ;) LOL
