Today was a weird day, for me, not jinx
This morning it felt like his dose was bigger than usual when I injected. It made me paranoid that I gave too much. I drove back home to get a +2 and made sure he was well fed. I was probably remembering how the smaller doses felt to inject.

when I went to give him his pm shot there wasn’t enough insulin in the syringe. I double checked it before grabbing it. I was so confused how I did that. I’m not even sleep deprived today .

My chewy order comes tomorrow with his syringes. I just used his last syringe. I went to Walgreens and showed them my usual syringes and they have me the ones that mark every 2 units. I just opened them and realized. Should I try to use it for the morning shot? . I live in a small town with no 24hr pharmacy.

You have the 1ml/100 unit capacity syringes and not the 30 unit/0.3 ml ones. Measuring a dose on the ones you have is really hard. Do you have a Walmart close by? Their ReliOn syringes have half unit marks. The 0.3ml U100 ones, that is.

You could try measuring 0.75U on the syringes you have - will take some practice!

You want U-100 syringes of 30 unit / 0.3 ml capacity. Preferably with half unit marks. But even if you can't find ones with half unit marks, they're still better than the ones you have right now.
