Happy Caturday! Many healing vines to Max, Skinky, Sasha, Minka, Harvey, Trix, Amy's Dad, Elise's Mom, and any I have forgotten (sorry!).

LBG is spunky this morning....well, she's spunky every morning but she just had a titch more wild in her eyes today. :cat::cat: Wild in a good way. She did give my heart a start, though. Before her shot, she went into the LB and I ran in so I could get some pee to test ketones (which i do weekly). I slid the foil tray under her bottom and she started to pee in it; normally, when I slide it out, she keeps peeing. This morning, she stopped, scratched the litter, jumped out. The only pee was the little in the tray. Of course, I started thinking along the lines of UTI because her numbers have been so high (for her) lately. However, I must have just interrupted her because after breffis, she got back in the box and had a normal pee. And she hasn't been back in there. Whew.
Don't tell her I was already trying to decide if I couldn't get her into our vet, which ER to take her to. Can we say helicopter mom?

We gave her a larger than normal (for her) dose increase last night. Normally, we only do 0.1u increases at this stage because it doesn't usually take much of an increase for her. But she's really had a weird month so we increased by 0.15u. I hope it does the trick and gets her kickstarted.

On another note, the anesthesiologist (Dr. L) only has Feb 11 available to do the dental on a day Dr. W can do it. Dr. W only does dentals on Wednesday; Dr. B doesn't do them and we don't trust anyone else to do it besides Dr. W. The only Wednesday in Feb that Dr. L is free is the 11th. And Dr. B does not want us to bump it until March since Gracie's labs are really stable and pretty good. So....that means no KY trip for me for granddaughter's first birthday (but Mike will go). So Anne won't be petsitting now but we've talked about trying again in May when Mike has another vacation. At least the weather in KY will be warmer then. I have to go see my mom in mid-Feb while Mike is on vacation. Feb is going to fly by like Jan did.

Hope you all in the NE are staying warm. It has been raining here since midnight Thurs night. There have been a few moments of no rain but mostly rain. We've gotten over an inch but we aren't complaining...we need it badly.

Have a great day.

My bag was packed and I was ready to go.... ah well, so glad Missy G will get her dental toot sweet and see if that brings her #s back to Missy G colors! :bighug:

Ooooooo, we're jealous of he rain, they keep promising, but it keeps fizzling out before it gets here.:( Sorry you won't be able to go w/ Mike. Uh, …… do you know if Anne wants to take a vacation on the CA central coast? ;)

Thanks for the info on the fuds, I just forgot that HK would be on DR. Lisa's list. Where were you getting the info on the Montmorillonite Clay? The most recent discussion I could find was on the Cat Site and it was 2 years old. Emma eats the NV raw and thst has it too.

I can't believe Miss LBG would ever let you stick a pan under her while she's peeing! I always have to configure the litter box/litter to catch any urine from Miss Polly. She's a very shy girl, you know! Plus she's no digger so that makes a "noninvasive" capture easier, too.

Sorry about the KY conflict. But the girl needs her dental. And you need to find out if that may be the cause of some wonky numbers.

She sure looks locked in at those mid blues so far today. Hmmmm? Action later?

Marilyn

Thank you all today for visiting. Gracie was flatter than I have seen her in ages. She was 141-147 all day long until PMPS. Marvelous!!!

@Ann & Tess : I don't know if NV uses the same clay in the raw food. I'll have to go back and find the other info.

@pollydoodle Missy G lets me do just about anything although I get the infamous LBG stinkeye when I do her mani/pedi.

Dinner and then condo hopping!

Very nice day today, and promising start for Miss Gracie tonight. Hopefully, the dosecrease will a little kickstart to get those beautiful flat cycles going again. Bummer on the scheduling conflict, but hopefully the dental will solve the wonky numbers. Have a good evening Marje!
