AMPS 287

Her appetite seems better. As I told you guys last night, her vet appointment is at 1030, so I hope they can figure it out. I just want her healthy again

She threw up a little bit around 3am. I thought it was weird because she hadnt thrown up all day. This was a full 24 hours later since the last throw up. It was first a bit of food, then a few minutes later white foam. Not sure what this white foam stuff is. Ive never seen it before now

Healing vines for Garland and the vetty visit. Hope they figure out what is going on with her. Our kitties gets the foamy throw up if their tummy is upset and there isn't much food in there.

Thinking of you!

Please ask the vet to send out blood for a spec fPLI -- this is the test for pancreatitis. It sounds like Garland may have an acid stomach or she's working on a hairball.

Re: 1/31 Garland PMPS 268

The vet appointment went good. Garland was NOT a happy camper. She growled her mean growl the whole time we were there to let them know who was boss LOL

Not much to report right now. Test results come back tomorrow. Sienne, I asked about the pancreatic test, and he said he didnt think she needed it. Said she really wasnt presenting the symptoms.

Right now Garland seems to be feeling better. She is still being very picky about food, but I can tell her appetite has increased. I really am starting to think she ate/digested something a few days ago that made her sick.(?) The only thing I can think of is maybe she drank some of the soapy dishwater when I was soaking dirty dishes. She has a "thing" about trying to get into human food. Ive caught her licking plates out of the sink before.I always try to rinse them right away, but I dont always remember. But who knows, I could be totally off base. I guess we will see what the test results say.

They did a urinalysis, a blood panel, and gave some SQ fluids. Thanks sooo much for praying for her. (((hugs)))

Keep up with the pepcid and if you notice the appetite hasn't improved don't delay giving ondansetron. Garland you Rock showing them your attitude! Kick butt girl!!!!

Good luck figuring out what is going on! I hope she feels better.
I think the pepcid will help settle her stomach - the white foamy stuff usually means they feel a little bit of an upset stomach. Jake used to vomit like that sometimes.
